Have you utterly failed the Bar minigame? If not, go do it. (Quick note: there is a guide for all these things. If the map isn't 100%, you might've missed an item or two. Or missed a capture entirely in some cases.)

bee hives, go near the rightmost hive and use double jump to reach and hit it
im too lazy to explain how to get the mask so ill leave it to som1 else xd

There is a secret entrance.
You need the leave item from the shop to use as an invitation to get in.
Complete the H-event there and they will give you one of their masks.

So I have failed the bar minigame, captured every monster, caught in the rat trap cage, and have every item but still have only 95%. really cant think of what else it could be

Why don't you screenshot the map and let us see if we can figure out that way what you might be missing?

I can't for the life of me figure out how to open the game. Whenever I try to open player.exe, I get shown 7 different error messages. What could be causing this?

As it says in the error, you need to download these programs that it says you need.
I don't really know this stuff well but I'm sure if you type MSVCP140.dll in thread search you may find some earlier posts on this same issue.

u might missing msvcp120 and msvcr120 too... download it...

u need to install both x86 and x64
extra: if the problem still not fix..i have no idea anymore...bcoz this is how i fixed my missing files...

You should know that is a date of publishing so since it is about another week until the next version comes on I don't think it matters to get a save now.
Since I'm replaying everything over each build anyway I guess I can post full saves each month.

Do appreciate your efforts. But yeah, guess its time to not be lazy and play the game 100% myself.
