I read the readMe after I posted and found out that there is a button that speeds up the animations and gameplay, which makes the game more playable. It's still not as snappy as OG FOBS is, but with the news that he's moving the game to a new engine, I imagine those are part of the kinks he will need to iron out.

Yeah. Door next to the sign with a heart on it, I'm pretty sure.
You still have to capture the monsters first though, and if they aren't capturable they aren't gonna be in there.
