Yeah, the AI isn't always the best at maintaining continuity even from one response to the next at times, but I have had some fun with that tendency. For example, there's an idea that I've played around with on and off for while now 'inspired' by the AI sometimes having the player character stash an item in a bag, pouch, pocket, etc. that you didn't have before only to remember that your character is buck naked in the next response. I call it the "Backpack of Questionable Existence", and it's basically a sentient reality-hopping backpack-shaped bag of holding that's there when you need it but may or may not be there when you don't. Like a karma chameleon, it comes and goes.
