Because all F1 drivers right now are pussywhipped in all their relationships while being totally absorbed by exercising their minds and bodies for their craft. The absolute void they call relationships outside other drivers banter and camaradery is right now the sour taste these reviewers experience in this game at the starting stages of the plot and story.

People really write multiple paragraphs just to leave a bad review when one of their main criticisms proves not only that they cant read but also that they have never had a female friend

They have a first time aero space phisicist as their engineer assigned to MC, a chassis that is the last season model and the limitation that the same spec car is regulations for all teams competing ... in a formula where teams can afford three cars with three drivers - one more than F1. Speaking of F1 - both drivers usually use different setups down to changed tires and aerodynamic features, but this game has a same chassis and same spec car for everyone, we do not need the added stresses.

So, when the guy in the intro says the MC is off the grid, does that mean he’s gone gone, or just done with racing? If it means he’s really gone, that’s kind of sad and honestly a big spoiler. The intro’s good, don’t get me wrong, but it kinda gives too much away.

But that’s sad if he’s gone gone, ’cause it’s gonna be in the back of my mind while I’m playing and making progress with the LIs and stuff.

And what’s the deal with Emma’s relationship with the MC? Is she a BFF or childhood friend, girlfriend/wife, or friends with benefits? I’m confused (not sure if that was already answered or not).

Her mother was basically his foster mother after his mother passed away. So a mix of childhood friend and foster sister? He was never formally adopted though, he just lived with them, and she's been his best friend since. As far as we know so far there has been no intimacy between them, but it's moving that direction.

Considering the Dev's fondness for Senna, he may be gone gone.

You can really feel the chemistry between the MC and Emma; they look great together! not done with the update yet but can't wait till they start noticing it and feeling it themselves.

I have a small nitpick/suggestion.
After they go jogging, there's a bit of banter about Emma needing to be carried. If we don't have a certain personality, we don't see the render of the MC carrying her and abruptly go to the next scene. This stands out due to a missed "rule of threes" ("Yup."); it feels like the setup of a joke, but the punchline never comes.
I'd like to suggest inserting a render of them walking off to close this scene, specifically after her last line here:

This is Formula racing and the races usually take 2.5 hrs to finish, but counting the sprint race and the qualfying runs, we can get a cool 5 hrs easy. There are automatic cutscenes that you can let run how ever much you like, so take your time and enjoy this game.

I'm confused by this answer. I'm asking for a logical estimate for how long it will take a fast reader to do one playthrough of the current content. You don't actually have to do a racing minigame, do you?
