Lol, guys "nobody expect big update" (at least imo) means that in 6 months they made something like ~2 month amount of regular content, but that "update" is not even a regular 1 month content. It means that post about "80% complete" was a total lie or they literally do nothing about 3 or 4 months. (18t or other content is not a part of discussion - "project" is about FET and money they recieve is for FET).

All of you who "defend" that kind of shit - mildly said you act like a total morons. Anyway - it's your point of view,ok do as you wish, but I GUARANTEE you will get another 4+ month of "stream of urine in your face" (so called "hiatus") some time later, just because devs is not punised for this type of behavior. Maybe even multiple times.

And for those of you who like to say "you take it for free", "you are not a patron", "you can`t complain" etc. - it's one out of two or you're not a patrons aswell (so don't lose your money and act like all is alright), or you're dumb - you paying money for getting shit in your face with such behavior.

- It's my money, what do you care? I rather spend hundreds of dollars on FET than a single penny on 90% of the other games. Mity could take 12 months off and still would have delivered more content like most other deliver in their whole game. It's clear to me Cbob has some serious issues, it's not in my power to do anything about it and without him there is no FET. But you guys don't seem to get this no matter how often we tell you. Also, I know for sure Marty is working his ass off and doing his best to keep the project alive. He deserves any support he gets.

For those of you who saying - "you don't understand, coder has serious mental health issues" etc. - omg stop being so naive, and/or stupid. Do you want to know what normal people would do if they had such issues? After a month of development, when they understand that they're not fulfill regular schedule, and that they will not do so in 1-2 weeks (let's be honest - even if you don't know how long a break you need to solve your problems, you can't think that you will solve such serious problems in a week that really took half a year to solve) - they IMMEDIATELY PAUSE their patron - and post a message that they have such problems, and they need time to solve them, and they will post message + new montly build after they solve all the problems and ready to to resume regular schedule. Ideally, with some kind of time frame should be specified, at least approximately, and maybe couple of lines about how are they going, from time to time. (Instead of that we saw over a month or two of shit posts like "build ready for N %", "soon everything will be ready for sure ... Nope. Sorry, the coder fucked me up again" and so on. And only after a big amount of time, when it became clear that patrons can start asking "WTF is going on there?", "When the fuck the build will be ready?", "Where is my money Sonny?" xD - to somehow smooth the situation, they started to post about suspending patron and previously used tale about "oh poor coder has some serious problems".) And moreover - artist should have rest too, (so when they resume he will not suffer some problems because he "tired", "burned out" etc.) or at least make content for the main game (so when they resume he has content stock) or maybe try to help coder in coding/writing part. (Instead artist do side project stuff and teasing patrons, and then release some kind of stub instead of at least montly build).

- There is no such thing as "normal" people, only entitlement and opinions. You can voice your opinion here but it doesn't have more value than ours. I agree on that they should have stopped the funding sooner.

P.S. I will not argue with anyone anymore, it's pointless, people stubbornly do not want to learn from their mistakes, but remember my words. The previous time they had s called "hiatus", I already said that this shit will happen again, if the devs will not be punished - people here throw some shit at me, and don't hear what i say. Voila, it happened again.

But there simply isn't any reason to get emotional about this on this forum. If you feel betrayed and robbed, the only place to voice your anger would be on their patreon. IMO the whole Patreon model is what is holding it back. If they got paid only during the time we bought the product and not in the development cycle they would have every incentive to not fuck around and instead, actually deliver.

You've finally decided to start speaking some sense.

The system does play a huge part in this because if you know you're going to get paid anyway you have no incentive to do your best. What's more is that you have every motive to keep development going on as long as possible.

It's a shame this update doesn't seem to be substantial though. I'll just have to put my interest on hold until the next one, whenever that may be.

Agreed, their biggest mistake was trying to make Korra likable. Though Idk who else they could've used or how else they could've done it (maybe made you be Korra? With dick potions or something.).

the problem is not that they tried to make korra likeable, azula isnt likeable, she is a major bitch, but i dont see people complaining about book 2. nah, the main problem with book 4 is that, they had no idea what they wanted to do.

the story has no pacing, it goes all over the place, they winged HARD, and it failed because of that. seriously, we go from one training to the next, korra sometimes gets trapped and abused, again, out of nowhere, we kinda manipulate her, and somehow in the end she decides "i guess im a whore now".

its so badly done, even some dialogue scenes remain the same even after she "give herself to us", like the shake, a very easily edit when we joke "there jizz in it" she still barf it out, when all they needed was to just cut that scene out and make her say something like "i know" before drinking the rest.

people get too hung up on "i hate korra and so should you" to even judge things on their own merit(or in Book 4's case, flaws)...

It's not that I consider the love route bad at all so far but it's just that the book 4 slave route already gave me a certain satisfaction if it comes to Korra <insert evil edgy grin>

I think by normal people he ment with a normal job where you get fired if you dont come to work for 5 months without presenting a valid reason. When i had depression caused by thc addiction i couldnt just not go to work i used some vacation days and after that I continued working feeling like shit.

And sure its my own fault shouldnt have smoked weed for so long but it would be the same if the depression was caused by something else.

Sad to see that a mediocre update was enough to get people to drop to the floor and start licking boots. I don't see why you guys on the other side of this argument get so emotional about people getting rightfully upset.

Would you not get upset if somebody lied to you constantly? Say it's your birthday and you're turning let's say 15, if you parents promised you a gift but then kept lying to you about it and just ignoring you altogether for weeks would you not be a little hurt? At the very least you'd think they were being unreasonable right.

Either way this discussion can get cleansed as many times as it takes I'll keep arguing against the sloppy management of FET.

well there could be chance for that approach with Kuvira. I don't know why else she would be mentioned and I don't see the love dialogue happening there.

Guys, I will say that it is realistic to of expected a regular month and a half release sized update. It's not like CBob sat there depressed not talking to anyone just so he could pound a ton of extra content for the game out. It was clear since November that he hasn't been working, or at least been making progress due to depression/creative block.

Something that I do have hope for on the other hand is a quick update or two. I'm sure with no real game to work on and 6 months of hiatus, Marty got to get ahead on some artwork alongside his efforts to put 18teens out. After all, they pretty much plan from the get-go who and what girls are going to do. CBob also seems to not only have come back to work, but also found a direction to take the plot, so we may get another update quicker than average. Also, unlike other times, CBob actually followed through with this one, so im willing to put a bit of faith in him. If this all is true, then it would just be up to CBob to pound out some code. Of course, this is all speculation, so I could be terribly wrong, but I think my deductions are reasonable. However this plays out, I think they are back and on top of it until at least the end of this game, and for that, Godspeed, and good luck.

Either way, I hope they hurry, because I really want to bone Jinora and Opal in a 3 way.
