If the game was 6 months from it's last update, then I could assume it is dead, not because the game is close to 2 months overdue. The update was "scheduled" for early september after all and that is in quotations because MITY doesn't do schedules anymore, because they had a habit of overstepping their deadline by a couple days.
I'm just gonna assume the coder actually had a mental breakdown or similar, given that the "couple days" that he talked about now turned into a full month.

Huh, I actually never once cheated for this game because I just couldn't be arsed to check for the money values and making enough money to hop along your progression isn't that bad

yes, they are all convenient midgets that merely look like their show counterparts hired by MITY to look pretty and sometimes the girls get in on the action.
A part of it is probably for personal growth. His prospects after this game would be better off if he could claim he'd done CCG and other forms of minigame features in this project. He could say it's so that the minigames aren't repetitive and shit, but it's also probably so that he'll be smelling like roses after this project. Too bad for him and us that he failed big time.

Not sure you're part of the majority there. Some games are bad, but some I don't mind playing to grind some money.
(And I never cheat in games.)
