No you don't understand. The coder hurt his foot last January and he feels sad sometimes so that's why there hasn't been an update since August....read the coders post...all right this is getting out of hand
Book 4 is kinda out now (half-slave route), Book 3 has improved I guess (I think at that time love route hasn't finished yet), some fix/small redid scene/text but just small changes, and love route Book 3 is completedSo i haven't been here in a while, is the game dead or something ? last time i played this was in May
Nah, just delayed due to health issues on the coder's part. Really dramatic ankle break ("exploded" was used, and was spelled out as not being hyperbole) followed by a slump and depression, after which the artist kicked him out until he recovers, both mentally and physically. So i haven't been here in a while, is the game dead or something ? last time i played this was in May
My sides ~The artist claims to have worked the entire time, and has shown as such
Art assests from a past build (meaning, the art assests 41, which was the latest post) doesnt show "progress" on a future build(yes, the last post was a week ago BUT it shows actual progress which would mean that an update is around the corner - fingers crossed). They even went to the effort of creating another Halloween Special just so they posted SOMETHING to appease their fans and patrons. Maybe give them the benefit of the doubt and practice patience, seems people don't know what that is anymore.
Yup, still a big weakness of the art, it was worst before but there is still a long way to go.
None, tbh most patreon developers get more money than it's worth for the games, and mostly if not all is clunky on the delivery. their monthly patreon is increasing but their workspeed is not. I doubt there is any difference in delivery even if the income/patreon got increased again. I've seen artists that update more content in their social media (not even payed!) or fangame/free project that periodically updating their game more than these 10.000$++ per month patreon projects.Out of curiosity, which developers do you think have been the most consistent and highest quality producing in the last 2 years?
LordArioch, but unironically. MITY's been fairly consistent in terms of output until now, albeit with a lower quality. The guys making In(cest|sexual) Awakening were about the same from what I recall. A good example on the other end of the spectrum would be Summertime Saga, a game where production times, the amount of content and the art quality go up and down like a fucking rollercoaster.Out of curiosity, which developers do you think have been the most consistent and highest quality producing in the last 2 years?
Probably Cheekygimp off the top of my head, the guy is consistent and if there would be any major delay, he actually pauses the patreon for that month instead of just cashing the sheckles with poor excusesOut of curiosity, which developers do you think have been the most consistent and highest quality producing in the last 2 years?
IMO, it's more a time problem than a greed or fanbase problem, as time pass you just give less of a fuck about whatever you were doing and getting patreon money feel less and less like something good / special because you're used to itProbably Cheekygimp off the top of my head, the guy is consistent and if there would be any major delay, he actually pauses the patreon for that month instead of just cashing the sheckles with poor excuses
Runey is pretty consistent as well, his updates take longer to come out, but they are usually really on point with his schedule, i can't even recall any delays from when he actually calls a release date
MITY used to be decently consistent, but when the greed reaches certain point, the developers stop caring (Jikei used to be pretty consistent as well, until the fanbase grew exponentially and they started to laze about)
Soon™any ETA on this?
