Its the most dangerous proffesion in the world, more Patreon Porn devs die a day than cops or construction laborers

They all seem to catch every single physical and mental disease posible for a human, at once, also, if they break a nail, since they are patreon porn devs, the pain is infinitely more excruciating than terminal cancer

Also, if you dont believe they are always sick, you are an evil person that doesnt pay

I swear to fucking god, it's not just diseases, it's like every patreon game dev end up living in a telenovela, their cats dies faster than germs, their evil twin brother come back into their life and steal their computer with the new build that we swear is totaly finished and coming soon once we caught the evil twin, they end up in 20 life threatening accidents within a week etc.

Like seriously, i was on the 'give them the benefit of the doubt side' but it's really getting fucking old.

Is the stress it can take a told on someone I have an issue with it myself to the point I was getting sick my doctor told me it was stress causing all my "sicknesses" I was feeling pains. I went to the ER like 5 times thinking I was dying.

All because I was thinking if what I am making was good for the patrons. them the delays started and that got my stress even worst so I got more sicknesses.

I feel something similar is happening here and i was able to fix it by pausing my patreon for a month

It's bulshit to whine about 'muh stress' when everyone else could never even hope to take 3 months off their job while still getting paid and even coming back without any consequence, A successful patreon is one of the most fucking forgiving way to earn money, don't expect me to feel sorry because you can't even handle the easy way.

And here it's been 3 or 4 months and nothing was paused at all.

Probably not belonging in this thread but seeing how people are talking about delays and stuff it makes me sad it's happening with other devs as well... Just take a look at tower of trample devs they are worse but devs delaying like these is such a joke a lot of the times.

I like the game don't get me wrong it's just sad long delays are happening with other devs as well.

No one is forced to continue their support, you can cancel anytime. If people would do that, things would probably play out different. But I can't blame them for not pausing it on their own. It's free money, there are only very, and I mean VERY, few people who would do that.

What is weird about it? Mity should not be getting payed when no progress is happening, the coder is getting his cut while doing nothing but procrastinating. The free money makes people complacent and updates more sporadic and with less content. It's a vicious cycle, do you want another Akabur? How often do you see updates from him? He's still making 5k a month why make anything?

I stopped my pledge the day Mity chose to extend his update times to 2-month periods, rather than the old 1-month. You don’t give these people an inch, cause they’ll take a mile. And now we’re 4 months into this update with increasingly shitty “circumstances” surrounding the two most unlucky dudes.. Mity used to be one of the best, and now he’s like the rest of them.

I'm not really a fan of the multicross idea.

Personally, I'd like to see them try to tackle a Teen Titans game. Raven, Starfire, Terra, Jinx.
Maybe a couple of similarly aged characters from other DC properties like Chesire or Artemis from YJ.
We've had a couple of attempts, but nothing on the scale of this.
Well, Something Unlimited exists, but it's not exactly the same thing.
