Can I ask about whether this is harem game or poly/sharing game like many users suggested? At least from my understanding the player can choose to go romance route or friend route for each LI, correct?

Fantastic, there seems to be a lot to look forward to, and although I don't like manly men it might be fun to just do a run where the whole family gets got, depening on how Alphinaud will be designed it might just be possible that only Fourchenault will be left without some private time with the WoL in normal runs, so I have to ask, is femboy planned? (not necesarily for Alphinaud but in general)

Ideally I'd like some sort of diversity in the body shapes and silhouettes, so yeah having a more effeminate male LI isn't out of the picture. It might be a little early to say for sure, but as long as it suits the character I'm alright with that

I hope that the budget stuff is nothing for you to be concerned with, we have hard times and the work you do is good for morale for FFXIV fans.

Don't worry, I didn't mean this in a "support-me-or-I-stop-making-the-game" kind of way lol. I do have plans to make a living through my other game (obviously easier to monetize an original project than a fangame), but as far as FF:HR goes, it's more that I have a basic roadmap that's compatible with my bank account, and anything extra will have to fit into that

One idea for the characters that aren't around anymore would be what was explained in Endwalker with the Aetherial Sea where souls go to get purified, grabing them as they are being purified might leave them weak, but it is possible that something might be made that, even if it is a little bit of an ass pull, could save them. If the situation calls for it just put 3 characters in a poll, one of them dead, and allow the fans to decide if they want a dead character back.

I hadn't thought of the Aetherial Sea, but that's not a bad idea.

That's correct, each LI gives you the choice to start the Romance Route or the Friendship Route. At the end of the Romance Route, some of them will ask you what kind of couple you want:

• If you enable the "True Harem" option and pick the Harem option, you'll remain their exclusive partner but you'll be able to date other people.
• If you disabled the "True Harem" option and pick the Monogamous option, you and them will become each other's exclusive partner, and all other relations will be locked to Friendship in this playthrough (you can still explore them in New Game+ though)
• Either way, you can also pick the "Polyamory" option so each of you agree to keep seeing other people. Aside from the sharing implications, this will later leads to some threesome scenes as well.

Note that none of these three options have an impact on the game so far, aside from some flavour text. We'll deal with that in their respective "epilogue" routes, which are still several updates away.
