Oh, Ellowas was untouched - even in the early days of OW Rule34, there wasn't even anyone close to him. I think the break really demotivated him as I recall him saying he was returning but felt like he'd fallen behind many artists and wanted to "catch up". Although I personally thought in that time, artists were starting to hit his level, and if he continued he would've easily fired further ahead. A real loss in the world of R34 imo.

Re Cakes, I see where you're coming from - there always felt like there was a weird film-grain in his animations too but in terms of movement and jiggle physics, he was up there as one of the better one. It might be nostalgia as he along with Ellowas were the first two artists that got me interested in R34.

I'm just glad there are a new (admittedly, very small) batch of artists putting out genuine quality.
Reminiscing on old artists, Yeero was also pretty good in those early days esp when Ellowas disappeared.

Rashnemains 1 vs Hydra's many...And Madruga is only improving. You can see it in the movements of the men that Hydra and Madruga are world's apart still. As far as the Hydra vs FPS comparison, my only gripe is length. It's easier to say Hydra is better, but due to how short both their animations tend to be you can only really say that FPS' style is just as refined as Hydra's, to an extent.
Bro I have to ask about the animations in your signature (top one: the one after ada/ashley hydrafxx anim & bottom one: the one after amber anim)
