I didn't only say NOT IN A RELATIONSHIP i said considered "if in an active relationship", then went onto further elaborate. But regardless NTR's core definition, does largely refer to the state of being in a relationship/starting a relationship, and I'm using it properly even if we wanna take that route.

I said didn't have claim. AKA literally DID NOTHING with the MC yet, not even HINTS to a relationship lmao. You cant posess ownership over someone that you have yet to even get that far with, thats the most roundabout logic I've ever heard. So you're NTR'd if a love interest has a boyfriend that breaks up with them AFTER the MC meets them but they banged before breaking up? That makes 0 sense.

Even the context of my comment suggested what I said "THIS UPDATE" is when the NTR flags would start considering the MC Just basically started a somewhat intimate setting with them. & yes if we arent actively doing anything with the mother, sisters, childhood friends, and the game hasn't decided that the flag has been initiated for them yet, and they have to have a tragic falling out to push them into the idea of incest or realizing they fucked up, who am I to say otherwise? lol. Aslong as I dont have to be physically involved with everything going on, I could careless, but laying claim to everything the second the game starts doesn't make any sense. Theres so many great stories where characters start out in a relationship prior to getting with the MC, they're a love interest, but they didnt wait around their entire existence to leap into MCs arms.

just to be completely transparent, if a LI is introduced as a "used toy" and I liked her, I'll drop the game. If an LI is shown in past scenes where they get banged or have an orgy, or college days, w/e I'll drop the game. I'm not a fan at all of watching LI's in sexual situations, even if its out of their control and they're in a completely unwilling rape scenario, that could pull me away even if there isn't penetration yet. If NTR is avoidable but its only avoidable by ignorance (aka it still happens like you have the choice to watch a scene or go to bed) I'll drop a game. I got my own issues with it, ontop of it just disgusting me outright. But, and big but here, I just dont agree with the framing here, in the slightest. It's constantly looking under the bed and its been a theme in this thread. I just think its a bit ridiculous with the evidence we have thus far. Hell even Julia is staying as far away from her husband.

This is like a northpole/southpole take on NTR. Northpole is like "you're not a real man unless you can share your women like a true cuck" South pole is like "You like NTR unless you're a completely overly possessive piece of shit once you think a characters hot" and I'm here just dead center like "im cool as long as I don't know it, see it, experience it, you're free to do what you want aslong as its before & not after we shared a moment if we're starting something, everything else is finished." gotta be some real elements to it otherwise it just feels hollow lol.

This I Can almost FULLY agree with, yeah its not attractive to see other LI's in sexual provocative situations, talk about ex's, past sexual relations, etc. Not a fan of it myself, but its just not NTR which is the main issue I take with people that constantly preach about NTR on here. But thats also why choices exist, if it bugs you that much that blaire grinded, turn her down, if it bugs you victorias a prostitute futa, turn her down. I greatly dislike NTR too, but I still dont think its too close for comfort. People here are too harsh on dev's about how they wanna tell their story, they did literally nothing, blaire never even did anything with MC by that point and people are sounding alarms. Once the route starts is where I start the NTR line, because I cant tie people to an invisible leash to me. Doesn't mean in a relationship, doesn't mean dating, it means once intimacy with MC starts, in any regard, is when the cut off starts.

The only real alarm to me is that Dev said Victoria will optionally be part of situations with women, which up to that point, we thought Vic was gay(or trans-straight) so thats a bit odd. Which is why I dont see anything wrong with the blaire scene, she's obsessed with MC unreciprocated, but she did it to mock vic, and we were also under the assumption that vic was 'gay. '

Wow:rolleyes:, another iffy cucky "harem" dev thinking its a "original" great idea of mixing and adding it(Ntr), but i really do not care anymore if its going to be "optional," I am out. But thanks for the heads up everyone(y).

Am i the only one who thinks that "porn logic" in a game is fun, but when people honestly believe it on the forum, then it's just weird?

The start of the prologue clearly states that the characters in this story are all troubled, flawed and deeply damaged and i got to say that so far this has been true.

If you are not interested in it, then that's fine. If you found nobody in the game you liked, that's fine. If you drop the game for any reason or no reason, then that's fine.
But why is everyone bickering over tags, definitions and what a genre of game must or must not have as if creative freedom didn't exist? Everyone is free to voice their dislike or other opinions, but the moment someone comes down to say things like "i dislike this genre as defined by the urbandictionary's 2022-august edition and anyone who doesn't agree with me is bad", then i'm quite certain that they desperately need a break.

Can nobody just decide for themselves anymore?
Could any one who disagreed with my post here, explain to my why, please?

The last few pages are full of posts like "i knew it", "seen that coming", "nobody is surprised", "im out", etc. But the teacher was always set up to be a LI and she is known to have a husband for a long time now. Morgan was called a "crackwhore" either in the first or the second patch and the trans character was revealed to be so soon afterwards.

The themes were there in the game long ago and you all knew that you don't like these things, so why were you not out when you saw them 4 patches ago, why only now when the tag is added on another site? Dropping a game because it has NTR or any other thing you don't like is completely reasonable, but continuing to play or following the game because it has no NTR tag, but a harem tag when you saw the theme in the game already is simply baffling to me.

How is it "betrayal", "waste of time" or "misleading" when the game tells you that something will happen and later on it happens, but it is not tagged on a forum? The logic just seems backwards.

I dont see this as ntr, the mc is not the one having someone sleep around on him, its the mc that sleeps with a married woman.

Feel like this game could really benefit from a walkthrough or a gallery mod. First playthrough, granted I haven't finished it yet but got to chapter 8 or 9 and seem to be missing some scenes. Not the end of the world if no mod/WT gets added, I'll just play it again and try to make different choices.

Hello everyone!

I wanted to share a few thoughts regarding the release of version 0.5. Unfortunately, the launch didn’t go as smoothly as I had hoped. A smaller, but rather vocal group from a certain adult forum expressed concerns about the game’s content, which led me to add the NTR tag to the game’s page on Itch.

I’d like to clarify a few things regarding this. I feel that my storytelling style has caused a strong fixation among a very sensitive subgroup, and unfortunately, some members of that forum have now moved their focus over to Itch. I want to sincerely apologize if any of you were affected by the group’s rather aggressive behavior.

Some odd account activity has occurred on my page over the past few days — for instance, within roughly 10 minutes, several 1-star ratings were submitted by accounts created on the same date. Around the same time, a large number of downvotes appeared on many positive comments, along with some personal and hostile remarks.

Because of this, I decided to add the NTR tag (with a clarifying note), mainly to avoid misleading those who are fans of that particular genre. Personally, I don’t consider the game to fall under the NTR category, and I don’t plan to include classic NTR or cuckolding content. However, since many interpret the current content that way, I felt this was the best course of action.

My request is: please don’t take any of the negative comments personally, and try not to engage in arguments with them. And once again, I apologize to everyone.

Thank you all so much for your support, and I hope you have a wonderful day!

– Bliss

Think the devs a little mad, lol, strange he mentions suspicious activity over on Itch, and a large number of downvoting to "positive comments" but doesn't mention the same suspicious activity to what I assume he would consider negative comments. It's also quite amusing that he calls some people sensitive but then proceeds to apologise for there "aggressive behaviour", there was nothing particularly aggressive said so who is really the sensitive ones here.

Play stupid games, win stupid prices.

Blaming a large part of the community that might even be the reason your game got recognised in the first place and the fact that your stubborn ass doesn´t want to add in future tags definitely didn´t play a part in those downvotes...

The Story on it´s own is quiet nice. Your mistake is that your kind of storytelling just doesn´t work with a lot of your fans.

Just 2 examples:

1: You meet Vic, have the option to romance her, get the choices.... and only after that you learn that she´s trans. AFTER you made the decision that you wanna be with her. giving us a second choice after that doesn´t change anything. The Damage has already been done.

2: Morgan: Meh. Typical tsundere vibe. Guess after we fucked her and watched her slowly warming up to the MC that there´s a chance we might be able to fix her, right....? Right.....? Meeep. Oh would you look at that... she´s already engaged to somebody. Doesn´t matter if it´s a forced or political marriage. She´s already with somebody. Not everyone likes or even wants Netori or somebody elses sloppy seconds.

The way it ended in a cliffhanger i´m guessing that Blaire is gonna be the next in line for a big disappointment and again, after the fact we slept with her?

The rest i´m not even gonna comment on. The casual Victim role.... Bliss good, F95 bad

if anyone is to blame, it's the dev who thought tricking people into supporting stuff they don't like was a good idea

The developer genuinely believes his game is so popular that people would go to the trouble of creating multiple accounts just to downvote comments, failing to realize that the downvotes are simply a result of the content he put into the game, which didn't appeal to much of his target audience. But it's easier to create a conspiracy than to accept that he might have made a mistake.

To be fair, people absolutely do create multiple accounts on here just to upvote themselves. Any time there is an ongoing dispute in a thread, check and see how many of the upvoters are newbies with only a few comments. If they do make a comment, they converse like a longtime F95 veteran even though they supposedly are brand new to the site. I'm not saying it happened here, but it definitely happens - a lot.

According to the developer, the downvotes in the comments were on the game's Itch page. There are several comments with over 20 downvotes. I find it hard to believe this all came from a single person, but either way, if the developer is happy with the game, none of this matters.

I will play any sort of game as long as its good and not reliant on heavily overused/predictable tropefests. Just be clear about where you're going. :4Head:

Dev tells people he's a compass, spins around like a top instead, vehemently claiming its a conspiracy of a few f95ers taking issue when he's pointing southeast. Can't imagine why people are giving him grief. Overwhelming majority of times devs react like this is when they were testing the waters at what sort of content players want and get way more pushback than expected. Dev wouldn't be complaining if there was sudden flood of 5star ratings and positive comments, now would they? :WeSmart:

People don't give strong reactions if they didn't like the game they were making. I don't get why so many devs can't understand its because people liked their games that they will sometimes react negatively to what they feel is a tone/vibe/theme shift. Some people should be more respectful in some cases, but it doesn't make it any less true. Thats all.

Also as to adding tags now, at least add cheating and voyeurism, because it seems they would apply to an extent, rather than people having some theoretical spat about ntr or whatever. :HideThePain:
