I wanted to start this week with the first group photo shoot and something a little nicer for my return. You'll have the choice between Fantasy or Earth girls in this poll.

I'm playing through the game for the first time, and I feel like I'm suddenly missing entire sections of the game? I save at the start of every chapter, and I've apparently missed the start of chapter 5? Then just before I met the King the second time the game behaved as if I knew a bunch more info than I do (I don't remember the king telling me ANYTHING about Gabby being not from his line, in fact I didn't even see ANYTHING after the trial)? After this I was talking to Gabby about going to the elves, and suddenly I'm in the woods talking to Veen about how my father lied to me, and I was apparently attacked?!
Is something broken in the game? I seriously feel like I'm missing numerous conversations or being thrown through time with no warning of skipping forward.

Edit: Further play testing, after having the sex scene with Emily in the apartment, I'm suddenly being thrown forward to a sex scene with Sumida with no lead up? Skipping the scene with Emily leads to content that was previously skipped. I'm not a huge fan of turning down a love interest in order to not miss out on content, but I guess needs must.

Just letting you know I started the game but held "Shift" and changed the rendering from automatic to the other 2 options, stopping and starting in between each. Then back to Automatic rendering and it seems to work now, I dunno, shit is strange LOL

Very strange indeed, given that I never touch the settings files or the options, only the choices, and sometimes I add a few loops to make the "fuck" last a couple of scenes longer.
I think I'll revisit the entire mod (as soon as I get off work)...

Yeah, who knows. Strange shit happens when dealing with files. Sometimes it's our computers screwing things up too. If no one else has mentioned anything I wouldn't worry about it too much

Are you able to use console commands?

You could change 'adultcontent' from False to True.

I kind of hate how forgiving and kind the MC can be especially when he has power to put people in their place. I mean what's the point of having that kind of power if your never killing your enemies or at least threatening to destroy people if they don't wise up especially in a medieval/fantasy game.

I had the same issue and yes declining the sex scene with Emily opens up a shit-load of content that was skipped due to some bug.

Did you also choose to avoid the Daddy Kink? After replaying again, it played like normal when I chose to do the Daddy Kink route.

I did avoid that route. I just tested it and yeah it plays normally if you choose Daddy Kink. Weird.

I had the same issue and yes declining the sex scene with Emily opens up a shit-load of content that was skipped due to some bug.

I had the same issue. Found it's due to a missing end jump in the sex scene script. If you go to game/adult.rpy (just open it in notepad or notepadd++ if you don't usually code), search for "label sumida02:" in the file. Right above it (should be around line 2570) is the end of the Emily sex scene, and the most elaborate path with kink is missing the jump command where it sends you back into the right part of the main story. To fix this, you can just copy the command from a previous 'end point' in the Emily scene (there's several), place it below the actual scene end and reload the game. If you're lazy and trust strangers on the internet, here's my edited version.

I've also found a bug in ch3, where the call to set Nierty's name uses the variable in the question. Since you obviously haven't answered that question, it crashes as it cannot find the variable '$nierty' yet (no shit, we're supposed to be setting that in the next screen). I've fixed the phrasing in the ep3 script to avoid that crash as well.

Once you're done testing, make sure to google 'Should I be downloading files from random people off the interwebz' and do some reading

I have the same issue in v0.6. I updated to v0.6.1 and it does the same.

major bug found at the end of episode 6:

if you're not into veen (ve_lover) and didn't invite nicole to stay (d7nicolehome) the script doesn't jump to episode 7 -> the dead-end of the top stack instantly send you back to the main menu

the indentation of Episode6.py's last 3 lines should go 8 whitespaces backward (outside of the 'if d7nicolehome == True:'s block) to always execute:

            stop sound fadeout 1.0
            stop music fadeout 1.0
            jump Episode7
