Is there a way to apply the rules automatically as slave conditions change instead of clicking the "apply rules" button every time you want to update rules?

Has anyone else had this problem in the base game where you make a rule that includes some auto surgery stuff and it just never happens...?
Like, I've got a rule that says 'tighten holes for slaves working in the club or the brothel' and it never triggers.
I have to manually flip through all the girls and use the auto surgery to fix them up myself.
Is there a way to fix this? (without just switching over to pregmod, that is)

Until very recently (and probably only in the banished mod), any and all auto-surgeries from the rules could only happen when the slave in question spends the week in the main penthouse. Not the sub-penthouse sections like the spa or classroom, the default penthouse, the least-useful location for them to stay.

Ah fuck... Thanks for the info...
I'm gonna try and see if two rules, one to move slaves with gaping holes into the main penthouse and another to repair them, stacked in that specific order will do it.
Probably won't. But I'm gonna try.
The 10 rule limit of the base game is very annoying imma be honest

I'm seriously wondering why you are still playing the abandoned base game. All active developers have moved to pregmod and there have been tons of bug fixes and improvements in the last 8 years. Note that all features that could be considered objectionable in pregmod (I mean, more objectionable than slavery) are optional and are not enabled by default.

You would have a much easier time with the new Rules Assistant in pregmod.

Pretty much cuz I was enjoying myself before I hit those limitations
I'm gonna switch over to the pregmod too, I guess lol
Time to learn JavaScript or whatever it uses for the rules assistant o_O

The rules assistant in pregmod is *a lot* more flexible. I have had some pretty convoluted rules and didn't have to start writing my own conditions yet.

I switched over to pregmod and yeah, the rules assistant is a lot more flexible.
BUT! I still have to write some code to get to the variables I want :ROFLMAO:
(Cuz they aren't exposed to either drop-downs lol)
Eh, such is life.
I'm enjoying it tho :giggle:

Is it normal for the price of menials to never go up a single time and consistently drop for 150 weeks straight in pregmod? Or is my luck just that bad?
(Started at 1150 and went down to 640 over the 150 weeks I played in that playthrough)
The week end report did have flavour text saying the demand and supply were doing something, but it never reflected in the prices

What is that Income curve thing...? It's been fucking up my reputation gains man...
The higher your reputation, the more it decays. That "income curve" is just how the game implements this, so there's nothing you can do about it.

I'm guessing this is just economical decay from the difficulty settings. For the most part, everything just goes to shit after the first couple years, but the game has ran its course by that point anyways.

Ah! Okay, that makes sense... I still don't like it, but it makes sense :ROFLMAO:

I'm playing on the easiest setting, though... And yeah, 3 in-game years is already pushing it.

Thanks!

Are you running a Corporation? The menial slaves you sell from the Corporation has a direct impact on the menial slave market price. If you're turning over a high number of menial slaves through the Corporation instead of pushing it to the 'end product line', the price of the menial slaves will sit at its minimum for an extremely long time.

On the other hand, if your Corporation is buying menial slaves instead of getting 'free' ones, it'll bring up the menial slave price like crazy (while also tanking the profitability of the Corporation).

Not on that run, I wasn't. That was my first run through pregmod and I didn't find the option to start a corporation till the next new game cycle lol
Now, I'm two more new game cycles in and I've figured out the corporation so I can reliably make 2m-3m in profit from that per week by doing acquire -> train -> whore -> sell any that remain.
And the menials still remain most reliable at just losing value over time. I just sell the random 2/3 menials the game throws you every week at whatever price it is that week *shrug*

I've never trained a single menial through the corporation. The numbers didn't make any sense lol
Training into whores and sell the rest is the most reliable one I've seen, but I could be wrong

Another update for this would be to put visuals like tits does or even correctional facility game does where u can see the modifications

There are image options, though? Admittedly, all but the AI image generation are outdated, but there's still a bunch.
Or are you referring to something more specific?

Haven't played TiTS in forever but if correctional facility game is BDCC they might be saying they want the dynamic avatar scene system.

is there an option to turn off the event where sold slave return and ask to be taken back? it's starting to get annoying because it's almost 100% certainty to trigger and the devs need to understand that when player decide to sell that means they don't want it anymore, sure do 1-2 event trigger is fine for flavor, doing it all the time makes it looks broken and counterintuitive

what i find even more annoying by these events are also, when u're a paternalist kind mc and u try to sold these girls to at least a good buyer or give them prospective future, and then they'll ALWAYS return after being abused, no other variation, so like, the only WAY to ensure these girls have rather safe future outside ur penthouse is to retire them as menial, that's it

Here's a gamer metaphor to explain why these are bad UX:
You gain a new sword that has better stats than your equipped one, so you try to sell or discard the old one, but the game ALWAYS triggers an event that make the sold/discarded sword RETURNS to your inventory and waste your space/weight limit
