I really liked the first one up to the first scene with the son, excellent story, unique animations, good sound effects, but up to there, after that scene it seemed to start going in a very random direction, without sense let's say, I hope this new beginning has a better direction, I wish you the best.

While your previous choices might seem unimportant, a future update will allow you to import or manually select decisions from the prior game. This ensures your past actions will still shape the sequel, rather than starting fresh. We're just not there yet. I plan to introduce one more character to the story.

I just finished the content for this version. There is definitely a change in the tone of the story, at least for now. More mysterious and sometimes darker than its predecessor. Personally I like it this way, as it doesn't feel like a simple extension of the first part, which as I said I loved, but it feels new and fresh and makes me more excited for what's to come.
