For all these people complaining that the original was better, which remake are you referring to? We've had two remakes in as many updates.
And perhaps more importantly, where were you when the vote was available to keep the old version? I'm a financial supporter on both Patreon and Subscribestar, so I think I have a pretty good feel for how After Choices ' supporters reacted, and the 1.15 update we now have here represents what their supporters actually want and voted for. Post-release, even those that liked the old models, has been primarily positive.
It's somewhat telling the results of the poll when it came to the option to remove the male protagonist. Despite male protag games being the most popular on this forum, the vote to keep him only got about 10%. So when it came to actually supporting the artist and making their voice heard where it would count, those that wanted to keep the brother in the game were practically nowhere to be seen and squandered the opportunity.
And to really drive the point home, the only time it was mentioned that someone became a patron to participate in the vote was actually to give him the boot.

That really depends on which route you're playing. The Sukkhon route now has much more content. Zoe is the focus next, so her route will likely get the same treatment.
I don't play the straight route, so can't speak for that. Impression I get is that feelings are mixed, but still plenty of content.

I had trans content off and played her going for both male and female. Having to restart is a pain in the ass on par with a hemorrhoid spurting pus and blood after 2 or 3 releases.

You can use "skip Unseen Text" in options and skip stuff youve already gone through.
Late to the show. Why the reboot. Liked the original at first, but then lost interest.
