you know, i checked my notifications, but there weren't any. Not sure why daz3d even has a "notification" section if they don't use it to communicate with us. I think they want us to spend the rest of our free time reading their totally unorganized blogs & threads. truly my only real beef with the daz.
They usually send daily mails with new promotion. I was able to get the "kin" bundle for free thanks to that.

Here's today's freebie, available to around 7am UTC tomorrow (1st December):

My Ginger Bread House 2023

Also, if you've spent at least a dollar in the store over the last couple of days you should have at least one punch on your holiday punchcard, meaning you get the choice of another, random, freebie (or a discounted item up to $2.99) in the Daz 2023 Advent Calendar, which can be found on .

Daz3d is being difficult with their version of an advent calendar where you have to make so many purchase.
Also, renderosity has yet to post "advent/christmas/holiday" freebies so I guess we will have to shop elsewhere.

Renderosity has started posting the Xmas freebies.

You have to visit the pages and "claim" the freebie, but it must be done within 24h. For instance today giveaways must be claimed before 00:00 CST 14/12 (that is 06:00 UTC if my computations are correct).

The link to the freebies download page will appear everyday on this link

Edit: updated refresh times

Wow, this thread went quiet!

Just stumbled on this Japanese Temple & Village freebie on Deviantart (yay Google search!), figured some of you might like this...

SucculentFruit13 also has a few other Daz freebies, some are 40k related...

The company that had acquired the Vue 3D software has finally decided to stop maintaining it and to release a free version.

You can now freely download Vue (win & Mac, 2023 stable version and 2024beta), along with PlantFactory and a library of plants.
Total download is around 40Gb (2Gb for Vue only), and it includes a complete 1000+ pages manual.

If you used Cascadeur before March 2024, you can get a free upgrade to Indie for 2 years:
In appreciation of our loyal Cascadeur Basic users who registered before March 1, 2024, we're offering a FREE upgrade to the Cascadeur Indie license for two years, valued at nearly $200. This upgrade allows you to access the export options to FBX, DAE and USD.
You can import (and I think also export) Daz 3D rigs/animation with it.

Auto Rig Pro is free to keep: only the current version without future upgrades though.

EDIT: Oh it's not just one gift, it's blendermarkets 10 years anniversary and they are giving a way one gift per day or something like that:

Just gonna go ahead and recommend
That's not what this thread is about. We know there are places to acquire (read: pirate) assets for free. This is about assets which are being offered for free by their creators or from the storefronts which sell them.

From the OP:
This thread is specifically for authors who have released their products for *FREE* use with no license required -- most of them explicitly stating that their creations can be used in renders in a game, which is considered for commercial purposes.
