Fart porn?

As for the game. Really enjoyed it. Wish it was longer but I think it worked very well none the less. Maybe in the future, a way to expand and continue the story.
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! The story is pretty much set in stone, as my intention is to use this first VN as a learning experience to cover the fundamentals of developing a VN. The lessons here will be applied for my next VN, which will have more decisions, more branching paths, a longer story, and improved artworks, among others. I hope you'll look forward to it!

I appreciate the feedback!

Overall, I enjoyed this short VN a lot. There are not enough wholesome visual novels here.
Sad to see that it will not receive any more story updates, but hopefully your next story is just as good and wholesome. Thanks

This was wholesome as fuck. Although a little more handholding and more cuddles would have been nice. :B

YOU DEGENRATE I bet you liked bringing wholesomeness to this site EWWWWWWWWWWWWW what's next a handholding arc? A major decision on whose big spoon and little spoon? Makes me sick  but in all seriousness great first start hope to see more from you but I swear if there isn't graphic detail on hand on hand action then what's even the point of continuing!!!

There are 2 endings to the story, but it's more about the journey than the destination!
Excellent - I massively approve of focusing on the journey more than the destination.

It's short and it's sweet. It could actually be shorter - I think it's a little verbose in its storytelling. We all know what a reporter is, for example.

I think it's more successful as a romance than as erotica. I approve that it skews realistic, but somehow art style doesn't quite move me the right way :( But I sincerely wish you the best, this was a lovely project and I enjoyed it a lot!

To hear from a more experienced dev, is very encouraging, thank you! I am still trying to find the balance between somewhat-realistic scenes (eg the guy doesn't cum like a firehose, or stuff like that) with something that's enjoyable and doesn't disrupt the whole flow (eg muscle cramps often happen irl but too much of that will ruin the VN scenes).

As for the art, I agree that it is not good. I did feel like the art was not good enough for release, but I had been holding the game off for too long, so I decided to pull the trigger anyway since the main objective (complete a game) had been achieved. With practice and time, hopefully the art will be more polished in my next project!

I appreciate the feedback and review as well which hopefully gives the game more visibility on this site.

Don't sweat this, you've done a great job. There's no one perfect answer there, the balance will be different in every game and different players want different things. It's a tension you'll need to ride with every game and that's a good and healthy part of the process.

For me, I respect a bit of restraint, patience and realism in these games and you've demonstrated all three admirably.

Careful now - I didn't say it was bad, I just said it wasn't quite to my taste. Tones a bit flat, lines a bit hard. I like some scenes more than others and generally I liked the character art. I thought it had a real honesty to it, and I admire that.

Your art is 100% good enough for release and you should be proud of it.

Very kind words, thank you! That's good to hear, and I hope to be able to maintain the balance regardless of the tone of my next stories. This one was a bit on the soft vanilla side, I felt like it's a good testing ground to find that initial balance.

Ah, of course, my bad. I'm already adjusting my pen thickness, as the lineart thickness for this VN is a bit inconsistent. Some of the artworks were made earlier than others, and since I'm a beginner at digital art, I experienced several upticks of "skill changes", so to speak, and they showed in the differences between the quality of different CGs in the game.

That said, I was expecting some harsh feedbacks from the internet (you know how it is, haha), so I decided to go a little hard on myself and my work to soften the blows. Post-release work is an entirely different beasts, and I'm still figuring out how to market the game and my next one to gain some support.

Thank you again for the feedback, I really enjoy development talks.

ParkG Hey mate, Congrats on finalizing the game. I ended up editing my review because I thought your work was deserving of a bit more praise than I offered initially.
I throughly enjoyed the story, and quite like your art style too. As soon as I land my next paycheck I'll start supporting you on Patreon. I was wondering, did you do all this single handedly; The artwork, coding, writing the plot? Also could you tell us a little more about your next project?

Hey there! Ah thank you for the nice words, I'm especially glad you found the protagonist normal, as it is my intention to make him so: a normal person with his own insecurities, nerves and such.

I was wondering, did you do all this single handedly; The artwork, coding, writing the plot?
Yes, I do all the work except music and sound. Coding, artwork and writing. It's a lot of ground to cover, but I enjoy being transparent about development, and post articles about character creation and such (on Itch.io and Patreon), and you can see me post every now and then on Reddit u/parkgstudio, discussing something like .

As for the coding, I ask a lot of questions on Reddit and Renpy forums, and as for the art, I use a lot of references to learn better (I realized that drawing from imagination is horrible, it's like learning to write without learning to read first), especially for background arts, they are such a pain to draw.

Also could you tell us a little more about your next project?
The next project is titled Office Rivals. Since OR is the second part of the anthology that FF is also a part of, the theme is still the same: straightforward, one love interest, and mostly vanilla (with a new addition of mild exhibitionism/public sex).

But the story will be longer, more branching paths, more endings, and side characters. I'm already tipping my toe into frame-by-frame animation, so there's that too. Office Rivals still won't be too far from FF, it's my second VN after all, so I'm taking it slowly, one VN at a time. You can check out some of the WiP artworks .

Most importantly it'll be something that I can finish at my current skill/experience level, at a steady pace. Anyway, apologies for the rambling. I am just really happy someone is interested in my work!

Love the work done for this! I 100% agree with your approach! I think build smaller VNs with a set plot in mind and continue writing. You will only get better with time! I often think over ambition is the killer of a lot of a projects and with this approach you will be able to be proud of the work completed!

All the best!
