I just don't think it does any good to have it on my mind any time she says "daddy" for her or myself. Hell I don't think she would want to be reminded of it by asking her about it when she is trying to hang out , forget and have fun too.

If I was ignoring her character I would be treating her as a sex object and not someone that I want to be there for and help / protect. Yeah I may think that kind of talk with her is hot in the moment but that doesn't mean I think of her as someone only there for sex either.

I just pick and choose when to think about heavier things like that and rather just go with the flow of things and have a good time with her and make sure she has fun until it's clear it's a serious situation or it's a good time to be talked about or addressed. If I was ignoring her character I would never talk about it with her you and like you said you don't need to actively think about it all the time.

So yeah I don't see how it is fooling myself or ignoring her character even in the slightest just cause I don't think about her issues anytime she says "daddy". For me there is a time and place to think about stuff and talk about it too.

I think this is perhaps a bad wording on my part, but i meant it in the sense how you don't constantly think that gravity holds us down to earth, but it sure comes to mind when you fall out of a window and it's quite hard to ignore then.

In similar way, you don't have to actively thing "Gee, Risa sure has daddy complex (and maybe she could use a good shrink)" 24/7, but it sure is going to be something you remember when she cries out "oh, daddy", and telling yourself then that it doesn't really matter and she sure doesn't mean anything by it or well i'd rather not think about it now... well, that does basically require fooling yourself and/or actively ignoring aspects of her character.

Quite, which is why acting in this manner and pretending that she doesn't have such hangup when she obviously does puts imo into open question if maybe Guy who does that... is more about his own sexual gratification and Risa being more of a sex object to get off with for him, than those lofty ideals. More than he's willing to acknowledge, anyway.

To be fair to Dessolos, I don't think it's inherently unreasonable to see Risa's constant "Daddy" exclamations as general transgression of norms rather than a direct reference to her own adopted father. Risa definitely has a lot of issues - whole subscriptions even! - which makes it hard to put them in a specific order. It's not clear to me whether her daddy issues are the source of her self-loathing rather than being a symptom of it.

Either way, Risa would definitely benefit from a shrink if we could somehow get her to listen to one. That would actually be a pretty cool platonic path for her, but I doubt we'll see that... unless maybe the psychiatrist is hot.

Not really, because as soon as you get to know her better it becomes a constant reminder Guy is just stand in for her real obsession that's her own dad.

Although i can see how being reminded the girl is lusting over another guy would be right up your alley, Joshy.

Did you listen to anything she says when you talk with her at her home, or paid attention to how she reacts to getting any sort of acknowledgement/praise from her "daddy"? That girl is desperate for affection from the man who brought her in as little kid and was putting her down as disappointment ever since.

She wants attention from her father, and she also calls the MC daddy. Clearly her poor relationship and unmet emotional needs from Mr. Rhodenbarr has affected how she relates with other men. That definitely doesn't mean she wants to fuck her own father, though.

Dev Update! 9/22/25

Hey, folks! Hope you're all doing well this week!

I'm a little under the weather, so I'll keep it short and sweet, today. I'm on track to get the rest of Season One out by the end of the month. For folks who have played the Legacy Version, there's not going to be a whole lot of new stuff. Mostly some new ero positions for Risa's scenes, and a bit of reorganization for some scenes. For people who have only come to the game recently, you'll have a lot more stuff to check out.

The new chapter is also entering the home stretch. I've got two main scenes to wrap up, one of which is going to be a little lengthy. But, I'm doing everything I can to get it out the door as soon as possible.

Finally, as part of my effort to do weekly Wanton Weekends updates for the month of September, I did a photoset revolving around.. tentacles! You can see a mostly-SFW version of one image attached. These little photosets are always a ton of fun, giving me the opportunity to dip into weirder stuff I can't really touch in the actual game, due to the (mostly) grounded nature of the story. I might even do another tentacle set next week, just because I had so much fun with this one!

Add to that the fact that BJJ is specifically meant to be effective against larger opponents (that don't know how to defend or attack against you), and the whole 'man vs woman' thing becomes kinda irrelevant. But, I don't have any fighting experience, so maybe someone who knows better can correct me or something...?

Practitioner here. Assuming Alex retired from pro MMA at some point due to catastrophic injury, she has to be at least purple belt level in BJJ, maybe even brown or black. Even if she never was a pro and only did amateur, at all of these levels a trained woman should be able to beat even a similarly sized or slightly larger untrained male attacker without a struggle. I would know, I've been that guy .

Combine that with what I assume is competent striking from her career and she takes an untrained wet milk bag type guy like Guy who never has shown at any point that he has that dawg in him (lol) and wipes the floor with his unconscious corpse without breaking a sweat. 99 times out of 100, and that 1 time is probably bc dark Guy spikes her water bottle
