In all seriousness I'm fine with NG taking a break and all, but there's one very important character we still haven't met and I've been waiting what seems like years now. You guys complaining about wanting more Gabby or Brittani have at least something already. It's not fair.
So can we have a scene where we drag that little sister into an alley or at least give her a bare bottomed spanking in front of her hot Asian girlfriend for acting like a brat? You can't go on hiatus without us having *some* Cassie content!
Or for normal people a scene where they reconcile and drink tea or whatever. Then Guy gifts her the swimsuit we bought ages ago, but doesn't want to see her wearing it because nice Guy isn't into seeing his sister like that. That's probably what the non-dark path people want.

Depends on how slow you take things. Last time I played it took me like 1-2 days to finish it all. Hour wise if I had to guess maybe in the 5-6 hour mark tho that all depends how slow you take things. I personally take my time playing AVN's so my timeframe is skewed as ill play a scene maybe part of the next one as well just depends how good it's getting then i'll alt tab browse forums, do stuff i need to do etc. I don't really like to play games for hours on end straight anymore I like to take alot of mini breaks now days not like when I was younger.

I'd honestly be curious to know what the average playtime is.. Someone once said it took them 8 hours to get through one playthrough. It's kind of impossible for me to judge, unless I just play and give each screen a, "One Mississippi, two Mississippi, three Mississippi.."

With all my diff path saves, took me a few days...and that was with skipping content that is the same regardless of path.
To pull ideas directly from my ass, if I had to measure this sort of thing I would have to make assumptions:
If I recall wpm reading speed is about average of 200, and slow at about 100. Assume 2 seconds appreciation for any given image, and maybe 5-10 for something 'special' (not just pornographic, but ones with particular details like that bracelet or the dress up scenes.) and maybe another 5-10 seconds for each decision option.
So i'd figure wordcount/100 + (image count*2)/60 + ((decisions+"special images")*5)/60 = assumed playtime in minutes.
But again, that's completely from my ass and i woke up and went straight for the rum today.

Nice. I was thinking of it in those terms, also, just less intelligently (my math skills suck
). I bet you could get a really fair estimation that way, though.I guess ultimately the most important thing is do players feel the releases are too short. I mean, considering the high quality, I personally am always begging for more. But, accounting for that, I think the playtime is perfect; does everything it wants and needs to do and more. I have a feeling most of us feel the same.
Neon's gone and released the inner Dark Guy in us all. And now? Now he gets the stick! And if that don't work, there's always the alley!
You joke (i hope) but it does seem to be the attitude of people these days. I mean to some degree since forever (hence the King story) but, like, the internet made it seem to be the norm rather than the terrifying exception.
But circling back to playtime and update length, I'm not sure how to best explain that more is never enough. And that's a bittersweet but good thing.

Not gonna lie I recall when I was experimenting with some Nicki choices once ( before I knew dark path with patch was a thing) I was kind of an asshole to her and saw you get a different variation of some lewds scenes. Kind did like some of the rougher scenes just not the full on dark path stuff lol.
