Yeah, there's always going to be random games that hit a little too close to home for a particular person. There's one game in particular that has a niece (sorry, step-niece) who has the same name as my IRL niece, and she's a mandatory LI, so I noped out of that one real quick. Yeah, it wasn't stored as a variable, it was hardcoded, and at the time I didn't know about that name-changer mod mentioned a few pages back. I'll definitely be making use of that, though probably not on that game specifically, since the uncle-niece relationship still kind of squicks me out even without the unfortunate naming. Weirdly, father-daughter doesn't gross me out the same way, probably because I don't have my own kids so it's farther from reality.

Well, tbh, sometimes URM's naming feature isn't enough because, as you say, if it's hard-coded by the author, I don't think you can change the character's nameplate.. which is fucking irritating as you can imagine. I guess I'm going to sound entitled here, but I really wish all authors would store names as a variable. And now I'm going to armchair too, but I mean, I'd be very conscious of one of my players encountering one of my character's names that was really unfortunate... like if the MC's mom has the SAME name as the player's mom... way too fucking weird... happened to me once... thankfully I was able to change the name I think. But if I couldn't... yeah, I would've noped out too. I already have enough guilty regrets as is

Mm, I've still got 170 images to place, and then I need to do a few renders that I missed on my initial pass. Then I've got one thing that's kind of broken in a scene, because I screwed up when I coded Viola's paths. I'd expect it to be on Patreon around 7 PM EST, but possibly earlier.

I don't read these to crank one out it's an enjoyable amount of titillation and I often click through overlong sex scenes pretty quickly. Does the occasional scene get to me, yeah, but the goal isn't the same as if I load up the hub. It's like before they neutered r/all I didn't go to reddit for batin' purposes but I did enjoy the random TnA that'd pop up while I was scrolling.

I passively consume these on my phone read story during dull moments and hey some titties or ass every once in a while. Yay! Rather than playing like brick breaker or some shit. I drop AVNs like crazy if the reading is too rough (bad translations mostly).

I've only been to a strip club once and was incredibly uncomfortable the entire time... I've gotta have an emotional connection to someone before my brain let's me do the sexy times so when dealing with real people I'm pretty closed off sexually. No one night stands for me ever due to that. Porn or avns or what have you aren't quite the same, but it's way more effective if there's story and build up to the sexy times for me.

It's a porn game because the purpose is to keep building sexual tension until you want to cum, it's just one that happens to have good writing. The distinction is nonexistent to me. It's like separating an Adam Sandler popcorn comedy from an extremely intellectually crafted master piece just because they have different qualities of writing; they're still movies with the exact same purpose, to entertain you for a few hours.
