Correct. I know it's not as fun as sex scenes, but I try to have as many characters pop up in an update as I can, even if just to briefly touch base with MC. Next update is gonna be a bit of a rough one in this regard, as it's like 80% Ashe, 10% Viola, 5% Nicki, 4% Risa, and 1% Pepper.

I do think that Nicki's sex scene in Chapter 3, on the good path, is what could be called 'making love.' Nicki holding MC's hands while she rides him is definitely a sign that she felt connected in a way that was a bit more than just sex.
There's a patch on the first page that'll add this functionality! I plan for a bit of an overhaul to some of these features when I reboot Chapter One. Unfortunately, right now most of my development time goes into just getting story stuff done, so certain things with the GUI, etc. have been put on the back-burner.

For me, any VN on this site without sex scenes is a no go. But, if the scenes have terrible setup and atrocious writing, uninteresting narrative and characters, I agree, they're completely meaningless and do nothing for me. So, I guess it's like a symbiotic relationship where one without the other completely ruins the experience, and point, of pornographic VNs. Glad to say that this game balances all of that about as perfect as I could imagine, which is why it's an easy top 3 on this site by a country mile.

This game is so good, I would play it without main character namely Nicki.
For me, there's a third factor. If the character models don't look good or they just look funny. It's rare but there are a few games I just stopped playing in the middle of trying them because of that factor. Most of the time, it's the opposite. The renders and designs look fantastic (or at least good enough) but the story would be written like it was done by some cringelord weeb or someone without a "voice" who just gets their writing cues from whatever is currently popular with hack writers.For me, any VN on this site without sex scenes is a no go.
