Honestly I hate corruption stuff almost as much as forced sex scenes and creepy mc's.
That's why I only play the love path.
Although if I remember correctly Neon said we might be able get Mason pregnant on the dark path so maybe I will have to do that eventually.

truthfully I only ever liked mild levels of corruption, like turning a shy or innocent LI into a girl that is a bit more open with their self sexually and not so shy or innocent anymore but not a total slut either.

I don't even like seeing mid corruption unless I'm playing some shitty porn game then I don't care.
If this didn't have a romance path with all the girls I wouldn't have even played the game.

o yeah if it's corruption without romance im out , to me there is no point in making a innocent or shy LI a bit more open unless you are going to actually romance her and have romantic moments, as well eventually have a ending where you Marry or have kids with said LI. Otherwise to me there is no point in it. Tho could be what I consider corruption isn't true corruption when it comes to these games either cause I don't think ive played any game that had a corruption focus besides having 1 LI be a bit more open with their self and less shy.

I don't really consider that to be corruption tbh.
All paths are fire to me, usually one side will be worse than the other due to devs just being better at writing for either romance or corruption. This guy is good at writing the sweet stuff, the lust stuff and the evil stuff. All entertaining and I look forward to seeing each route play out. Only game I genuinely look forward to updates for

There isn't a "dark" path, there's romance, corruption and rape. You could put the corruption and rape under the blanket category of "dark" but it isn't the one path.

Feel like this was all pretty well explained by my most recent Dev Update, but to whit: it's a bonus update. Next update is still coming sometime between late April and mid May. At the absolute latest I'll get it out by the end of May. I've been dealing with some health problems, day job nonsense, etc.
It's true. First you get the sugar, then you get the power, then you get the women. Then you miss your four-month update window because -- wait, hold on. January, February, March..
The data on this is kind of interesting. Friends Indeed was downloaded 600+ times with the most recent update, while Friends in Need was downloaded 400+ times. Both were made available at the same time, and both for free. I can't say how many of those are people who prefer vanilla to not, how many downloaded the wrong version by accident but weren't subs, etc. Then there's the people who only download it from pirate sites, and get whatever version is uploaded there. But, there seems to be a non-marginal number of people who prefer a more vanilla experience.The non-dark path is written so well and is really sweet.Don't think I'll be able to play the Dark Path again after playing the non-dark and my first playthrough was the Dark Path.
Which kind of tracks, when you look at which games are the most popular.
For me too, honestly. There's a reason I don't want to draw out the dark paths too long. They're just not super fun to write, after a while.

Agree too. A bit of corruption can help the story move along, like accepting a blowjob from Mason when giving him a place to stay but still treating him well.
But Guy going full Bill Cosby/Mike Tyson is a dead end on the long run. Who would want to stay close to such a person?
personally i play Guy as a good guy, but i love to be mean as fuck to Brent, Jamie and will do so with Gabi's dad too. given the opportunity.
I think the "corruption" in this game is closer to "exploring kinks with someone you like" at least so far. Guy isn't really "changing" the people they are just more open to being flirty/kinks. Hell Britanni goes further in the store if you didn't get lewd with her during the photoshoot (iirc). I don't personally care how dark/light something is as long as it is interesting and well written, but the further a game goes on with a split like this the harder the "logic" has to stretch.
