The issue isn't with you not liking Nicki and having a hard stance or not budging on it. The issue is you are basically saying anyone that likes Nicki or defends / share their own point of view is is a white knight , at least that's how your comment reads to me. I imagine very few are. While I hard disagree with your reasons for not liking Nicki from previous conversations. It really comes down to personal interpretations and our own feeling for certain things if we dislike a character. Only reason I ever share my thoughts about Nicki isn't because I feel I need to be a white knight when someone talks ill of her. Instead I just simply like to share my point of view to get a conversation going since this is a forum it's fun to do.
It comes down to the way someone talks ill about her. Saying something simple minded like she is a slut is of course gonna get some people upset and defend her cause to some she doesn't come across as one to some ( like myself) and start a "Nicki War". But then you got people like Defenestrator.for.traitor who does not like Nicki and has said so and the reasons a few times on here. You know what it never started a war because he never gave a simple answer but a well thought out and critical thought process of what he doesn't like about her.
Why, she's the only Pepper I can imagine inhaling willfully, ofc!

First of all I don't see it as being a simp at all. I just simply don't like the idea of taking advantage of Nicki for sex in that scenario even if she was taking advantage of us. I just simply rather choose to be a good person and help out a friend in need. Especially considering at that point it's chump change to Guy so it isn't even a big deal and from what I can tell Nicki is as close as Guy has to a best friend. I simply value friendship over all else as long as I still want the person to be a friend even if the other person was being a shitty friend at the moment.
Also it was clear Nicki didn't want to have sex but agreed to do so anyways because she knew what she was doing was shitty and manipulative. Which makes me feel like Guy is still raping her on some level even tho technically he isn't . I personally don't like playing Guy being manipulative or anywhere close to the dark path on my main saves. I only do so to see the content as im a completionist and on the Dark Path I ctrl skip past all the sex scenes.
I'm a pure good guy path player, I don't have issues with MC's being shitty or manipulative in other games but this game doing that just isn't for me for some reason. If I had to guess is because usually the end goal is sex when the MC in this game is being shitty and manipulative. When I play AVN's sex is never the goal for me even in porn AVN's. I like the scenes when my MC is just having a conversation / hanging out or what have you with the girls more than sex scenes in general. As I find lewds kind of boring to me most of the time and just something nice to look at nothing more. All this game makes me want to do is romance the girls and help them out without strings attached , as that's the kind of person I would be normally anyways. I don't quite self insert as I play disconnected from MC's especially this one. However Neon usually gives us enough choices that I can act in away I would normally act or want to act if I was this MC most of the time.
So when NeonGhost said in the rework we can give Nicki money without sex I got excited.
it doesn't. play through Brit romance act to see the contradicting nature of the writing. After u got the video from him u can see Brit's bf who's a guy that likes to do all kind of degrading things to his ex-gf and his current gf. He literally tied Brit up and blindfolded her then invited a guy over to fck her. He turned into a this deep, romantic, shakespeare level of poetry guy that got sad after finding out MC just slept with Brit after punching him. I literally LOLed at that scene. Writing's mid but some models are pretty good.

I will be doing it because it makes the story more interesting, of course any functional human can get sex from a girl for $20,000? Not least one who shares an (emotionally positive) history with? Obviously the boyfriend who always gets moneymaking ideas too late can feel like his girlfriend is cheating on him with the extremely recently rich guy who she also shares a genuine emotional connection with? Right now when he comes back (assuming he doesnt end up in prison for grand theft lmao) the confrontation would be more predictable since he was right about MC and Nicki as soon as MC got a real chance they did (some) of what he was afraid of.
After the rework? I want to see his reaction when he realizes that everything that happened to him (his side story) was objectively on him and was in way shape or form the fault of Guy.
.... Does a character being a (contradictory) piece of shit mean that the writing is mid in every case it happens? because if so that sucks you have never read a good story
nahhhh, characters have to be simple & one-note, complexity is contradictory and totally not realistic at all man
honestly even if u (royal u), as the reader, dont quite understand every characters decisions, which is definitely me sometimes, you can come up with your own interpretations that work. for example, with Jamie, you could argue he has a fear of being cheated on and so invites his buddy over to get his dick sucked or w/e so he can feel like he has control over it. maybe he felt particularly threatened by that friend? and then ofc Brit genuinely cheating on him just confirms his biggest fear & feeds into his deepest insecurities. even assholes do not like getting cheated on, lol. he may have genuinely felt he had a connection with her. add to that he's also turned on by being a "dominant" prick, more ego insecurities being fed, i.e. mistreating gabby, and it makes sense to me.
or hell, i dont know, that could be one of those stupid obnoxious "pranks" or w/e that some d-bags like to do lol "gotcha babe! haha!" there are some real dorks out there

So, what's more likely is that he just wanted to show off for his friends, being kind of an insecure weasel.
But that would make sense with him being "abusive"/manipulative behind closed doors and a "nice guy" before that/in public! He's supposed to be mid writing though!

I'm kind of dissapointed there aren't any slutty girls to romance. For example imagine if we met a prostitute or something but we show her there is more to life and a wholesome romance ends up blossoming between us.
