Same old, same old for right now! Over 800 renders, dealing with some uncooperative technology, and spending every available hour to pose scenes. I managed to pose 75~ scenes and partial renders yesterday. I ran 25 during the day, and tried to run another 50 overnight. But Render Queue screwed up and only ran 9. Which was a real bummer to wake up to.
Still, I'm happy with how the new scenes are coming along. If all goes well, I'll have rendered two more sex scenes today, and be on my way to doing the epilogue tomorrow.

Yeah.. C'est la vie! Chapter Four will explain her provocative little outfit. That'll be her first big appearance where you actually get to know her well, and I think it'll be really cool. The more I write Brittani, the more well-rounded and interesting I think she is. Of course, having decided to soften Brittani, it left me without a good "villain" character.Brit's current outfit is nice but yeah the stockings ones prolly what i would've gone for.
kind of gives off a vibe she isnt as bad as Gabi says. weird thing to judge someone from their clothes but i guess im used to seeing VN women dressed up hot asf 90+ percent of the time. so seeing the middle outfit was refreshing.(not saying she wasnt hot asf but it definitely covered up more than the others.)
i could honestly see her having a super shy (sexy/hot) nerdy best friend.
But, that did inspire me to bring a certain shithead back into the story.

In FiN news, I'm done with one path for the big swimsuit event in this update. Now onto the other half, after which I'll be painfully close to the end.
Finally someone to identify with! Hope he don't get NTR'd otherwise we will have to write a bunch of posts about how angry we will be.

It will cause a lot of cognitive dissonance since WE are the NTR guy doing all the NTR to all the cucks. Even if we are playing the kids glove version of ourselves, inserting our penis where it doesn't belong. If some random NTR happened to us would it be tragic irony or poetic justice?

Thats a bit of a pity. I expected her to be a mean girl type of character, that would be fun.

Yeah, it was one of those things where as I wrote her, it just didn't ring true for me. It felt a little too archetypal, and I wanted to subvert it a bit. That's not to say she'll be a perfect angel, but I was initially writing her very.. valley girl? Vain, image-obsessed, shallow, etc. But, I reached back into my high school memories and thought about a girl I knew that was very Brittani-like on the surface, but actually struggled with a lot of insecurity and self-hate, due to the expectations placed on her as "popular" girl.
But, that said.. I do have an image-obsessed character in the pipeline who will be kind of a pure villain. The type that I think even players on the good route will be tempted to knock down a peg or two. But, she's a little ways off.

I hope you know what you are doing. I really looked forward to fun and spicy dynamic between Brittani and Gabbie with conflict and resentment, some sex scenes where mc tells Gabbie about Brittani being better and other mean stuff. But now it sounds like Gabbie will just go "Omg I villainized Brittani just based on her appearence and my own insecurities but turns out she is just a normal human being like me". Friendship, sisterhood and ponies
. This might be a great message to put in some tv show made for kids but in fetish heavy lewd game this is some very very boring shit.Archetypes are not a bad thing. Especially when we talk about porn games. Mother/sister/wifes friend/bimbo blonde/mean popular highschool girl/etc are all powerful labels that make most mens imagination conjure interesting scenarios and images, they make everything more exciting. Its a great crutch for amateur writers to use to make people be invested into the characters. Straying too far from the character labels, subverting/deconstructing it just takes away from fetish content and turns everything into a generic boring drama. Hopefully you will find the right balance between archetype of characters and their in depth characterization.
Pure villain character sounds boring. When game goes out of its way to make players feel 100% righteous/justified in mistreating of the characters it makes content feel sterile. It gotta feel wrong for it to work in my opinion.
Also we live in 2022. You cant subvert our expectations by subverting our expectations because everyone and their grandma are doing that and we expect it. You can only subvert our expectations by not subverting our expectations.
Obviously with this post I dont intent to change your game or your opinion. This is just me ranting a bit.

I say this to myself in the mirror every day.
I don't want to spoil things too much. But, the way I see this game is that, as it goes on, a good MC will make the people around him better, and an evil MC will make the people around him worse. So, a Gabby and Brittani who've been around evil MC might be easily pitted against each other (through manipulation or outright coercion), while the two of them who have mended fences may have other fun possibilities. I want there to be something for every playstyle.

I try to balance it so there's always a good option and an evil option.
It may not always be perfectly symmetrical, though. In Chapter Three there's a scene with an existing girl that you can only get with a good MC, because you've established a relationship with her already. But, if you're on that character's evil route, there's the opportunity for another evil interaction with a new character. Or you can mix and match. Be mean to character A, but nice to character B, allowing for potential nice interactions with B later.
General news for Chapter Three: I passed 915 renders last night, so in pure image size, this update will definitely be larger than Chapter Two. I've got to finish Gabby's shopping scene, two small scenes that are going to be 15~ renders apiece, and the finale which is probably another 50ish renders.
If I can't finish the update by tomorrow evening I'm just going to put what I have up for $15+ patrons, so a couple of small scenes will be text-only.
