As well as the conflicted feelings of going back for the 2nd time to a person she's burned before (or ran away from depending on the path) after reaching a new level of "rock bottom". I don't know, guess it also depends on how evil you get to the point she just loses all faith and is just still around because she needs the help.

Both seem like similar situations but one is more like power harassment with no prior relationship and thus, no real reason to forgive and the other is a completely dependent relationship with a lot of history and guilt mixed in.

tldr; Last night I put out a new prose short story featuring Madison, before she was Mrs. Barron. It's available to all $2 subs, has a couple pieces of art, and is the first of a three-part short, which explores how Madison met her husband. Otherwise, work continues on Chapter 10. Currently weighing another divided part one/part two release, versus just waiting and putting it all out in September. We'll see how I feel as I get through the next few scenes I need to do.

But, the main reason I said that is because I peaked at the code for the photoshoot; if you force her to finish the shoot and take your cock out and put it near her face, but you make sure to not go further than that, she becomes afraid of you, but your relationship stays 'neutral'. Not sure if that's an oversight, or if there's a specific reason; I guess I would've assumed it'd land you on her corruption path or something?

I would guess that the August release would land around 650+, with the September addition being another 200+ which would put the whole chapter around the length of Chapter 4 (Britt's photoshoot update) and Chapter 8 (multi-opening update that introduced Isabella, the streamers, and Lucien).

But yeah, someone could make a mod if they wanted to and I'd assume it wouldn't be that hard. However, you can already get all the info you need out of the game and your save file if you use URM mod. Once you learn the simple UI, it's pretty straightforward.

If that Brit scene code is intentional, I'd guess maybe a few possibilities:
1) Brit's neutral about that scene because she's a naughty girl;
2) because Guy didn't take it further (by making her give him head), she gives him the benefit of the doubt from an artistic perspective or something; after all, she pushes boundaries a little herself when she performs;
3) the worst one.. she's been pushed, sexually and otherwise, by her mother and the men throughout her life so much that it's been normalized to her, and doesn't get as much of an emotional response from her as one might expect, unless it's something extreme even for her, like a forced BJ.
4) a little of everything?

It's interesting to think about. One of the things I love about the game is it doesn't box its characters in, gives room for each to have their own tics and personal reactions to things in an organic way.

I think I'd have to play the path in question to see for myself but I can't seem to narrow down her personality yet. I'm sorry, I feel like I keep being a contrarian but:

- It seems like she more or less just adapts and puts on a "face" according to what other people want. She herself may or may not be "naughty" but I can't really tell because again, she just seems to perfectly portray herself as the kind of person someone else wants her to be. Not so much in a "people pleasing" kind of way but as a self-preservation thing.

- The second one seems the most plausible. I don't necessarily think she's naive and passive enough to just write it off as "pushing artistic boundaries" and go with the flow but from what I can remember with her photo shoot scene, she does seem to push those boundaries herself with no prompting from anyone else. I think she still understands professional boundaries but maybe is just willing to chalk that up as "getting too into it".

- She's used to abuse but she knows it's wrong. I don't think it's so much that those "red flag" sirens aren't going off in her head anymore. It feels more like she feels she's trapped in a bad situation and just needs to somehow get through it. I actually think that because she went through that stuff before, she should have a higher sensitivity to that kind of stuff that immediately tells her, "This guy's bad news."

Although, I feel like "neutral" might be a little bit of a misnomer when it comes to Guy's actions and how the characters subsequently act towards him. Most of their reactions afterwards are something along the lines of, "caution and dislike but still sticking around" vs the evil Guy path where I think they just disappear from the story.

How I see the good Guy, neutral Guy, and evil Guy paths is 1. Normal Guy who develops an actual relationship and gets a character to open up, 2. Asshole Guy who uses his money/influence to coerce characters 3. Evil Guy who simply does what he wants by direct force. In the sense of a healthy/romantic relationship, the latter two don't seem all that different. (That all being said, I wouldn't be opposed to good Guy pushing them towards getting spanked)

Part of this is that I've just been trying to smarter about coding stuff. :'D So, I try not to create a "rel" status unless it's a significant divergence from another path.

Originally, I tended to group most stuff under a 'rel' modifier. Ashe has five or six after her first appearance. One showing she likes you, one showing she's afraid of you, one showing she hates you.. But, also some to show if she never came to your condo, or other minor, dumb things. I could've just done ashrel = 0, ch2_ashcondovisit = True, ashkiss = False, etc. and saved myself immense headache trying to dance around the specifics of their interactions. Over time, I've been trying to use more one-off/disposable variables to denote certain actions taken, or knowledge a character has, etc. and reserving "rel" statuses for significant plot divergences.

With that Britt scene, as you noted, she has the "brifear" modifier to show that Guy scared her by whipping his dick out. But, besides being a little skittish about Guy, her storyline in the brirel 0 path isn't too different, no matter what decisions you made. She came in and took photos, she had no explicit sexual contact with Guy, and she went home without Jamie returning and finding her. The main difference is how she feels about Guy. Did she like him? Did she like him enough to kiss him? Or did he freak her out? None of those things really require a new "rel" score, but I can always use her points/status to inform a later possible route. So, if brirel == 0 and brifear == True, maybe the player can do another pushy photoshoot, or generally just be a bit more of a sleaze, whereas maybe the option won't be there if brifear == False.

Honestly, if I knew what I know now, a lot of stuff would be tagged/coded differently. A big part of my desire to rework Chapter One/restart everyone's saves, is that I'd like to streamline and unify everyone's points, statuses, etc. It's honestly a mess, as I kept trying different stuff, experimenting with what was most intuitive. For instance, I think I started with nidkpts, nihpts, etc. Then Viola and Risa got ri_lt, or ri_dk, because it seemed less annoying to type. Then I realized that what I really should've done all along is just start everyone with a base level of 10 points, which can decrease to 0, or increase to 20. Everyone would just have scores like $ nipt/gbpt/ashpt = 10 to begin with, and then move plus/minus like a sliding scale. As is, it's a fucking mess of various, often conflicting values, which makes coding new sections a pain in the dick.
