Can we uh ... can we change the topic now?

I'll start. Who do you think would get more freaky? Ashe or Brittani?
Definitely Ashe. Brittani is more the type that would get freaky only if she were to see it as an acting role. Ashe already showed that she is into some kinky stuff

To me, Brittani seems more than any of the others to be more of a blank slate that he could mould into all sorts of things. Ashe is more kinky to begin with (though the angel/devil scene with Brittani was quite something) but I get the feeling that with a bit of persuasion Brittani would be up for just about anything. The way she gets into character so easily suggests a certain kind of malleability to me.

Brittani because she's best girl. Fight me.
Not gonna lie, she's definitely up there in the rankings but the scene her made me feel like she'll always just being playing a character and not actually want to do those things herself.
They both have daddy issues, which is more disturbing in Ashe's case because her dad looks like he could rape Sasquatch. Tie goes to the chick who scares me more, I guess.
Hmm. Yes, yes, I see.
From what we've seen, Ashe. Brit might be kinkier later on considering her issues, so we'll see.
Yea, I'll need to see what Neon brings us in the next update to see just how kinky Ashe can get. Otherwise, I think Brittani has a lot more potential to be that kind of character. Although, like I said before unless a relationship develops it'll just feel like she's playing a role. Which is still hot but not the quite the same.

I'd like to give a different answer, I think freakiest of all is Violet maybe sister too 'cause we don't know much about her. Always beware of the silent ones. ;)
Would be interesting. She is absolutely not kinky now, but as the most innocent and inexperienced of the lot, she could be into all sorts of shit when she starts experimenting.

Oh sure, I'm not shy about it. :D I tend to believe that stigmatizing sex/porn is silly, and besides that I'm quite proud of what I've made, after having zero experience in this realm up until now.
Does that mean you didn't know how to code / work with Daz3d or similar at all before you started working on TSL / FIN?

My guesses would be either Ashe or Nicki from the ones we know or maybe Mason since he did end up having lots of sexual experience because of his situation.
But Violet is pretty much the most sexually inexperienced person of the whole main cast so far.

Interesting way of analyzing her character. Not saying that you're wrong, I just see her in a different way.

To me, Brittani doesn't really know who she is, which is why she is so into acting. Like all teenagers, she is trying to figure herself out so, while you are correct that with a bit of persuasion she would be willing to try things, that is not a guarantee that she would be up for everything. More like, she will try stuff and then decide if she likes it or not.

That is absolutely correct which is why I said that. She will be the freakiest, kinkiest, dirtiest sex goddess. :devilish:

Hey hey, just a general FYI. Current 'finished' build is at 438 images, while the total images for the next installment is right around 500.

Also! I had my good friend and real-life inspiration for Viola record one of her signature lines, which I've attached as an MP3 below. I'd always kind of written off the idea of voicing the game because it'd be such a massive undertaking, given the amount of dialogue. But, I recently played Classy Lemon's Projekt: Passion, and I really like how they handled the voices in that game, only using them for specific moments.

It's nothing I'm likely to implement anytime soon, but maybe once I'm ready to put the game on Steam or something, I'll implement it.

Correct! I had experience writing stories and doing traditional/2D art, but I'd never coded in Ren'py/Python or used Daz before. Which is why the code for FiN is.. Not great.

Still, this is also why I encourage everyone to go make their own games, even if they're text-only. If a dumb-dumb like me can figure it out, anyone can! :D And as always, enormous thanks to Pablo and Horizontical for their help and guidance when I was first putting the game together.

One thing I will warn of is that having sound come out of nowhere when a game is mostly silent is incredibly jarring. I would recommend implementing music and/or ambient atmospheric sound before sound effects or voice. That way it won't be such a shock to players.
Also I kind of figured that Viola's accent would be a bit stronger, given how much trouble she seems to have with English, though it is of course best that we can understand her, even if the dialogue is there.

Oh for sure. I'm experimenting with some tracks right now.

As for 'Viola's' accent, my friend is a native Russian speaker who only speaks very little English, so.. 'Bout as close to realism as I can actually get on that front. :'D

I think you're lying about the dumb-dumb part, because the speed at which you evolve is insane. How long did it take you to get a little comfortable using Daz? How long did you work on the first release of FiN?

I want to make my own game at some point, too. Downloaded Daz, got overwhelmed and closed it after playing around for 10 minutes. Reading your comments makes me want to try again. I'm confident in the writing and coding, but when it comes to the visuals I'm just not that optimistic, lol.

On the topic of voicing the game: I like the idea and I'd be curious in what context you'd like to do it. ClassyLemon does it in his cinematic scenes where it highlights the gravity of either the situation or the character's convictions/feelings.

Generally, my personal experience with voices in games wasn't all that good though. There's either loud background noise in the sound file that doesn't match the current situation or other things that don't belong there. I think we all got our ears blown out once or twice by some sharp noise, too. Or, the classic: some audio from porn that doesn't fit the situation / character at all just shoehorned in there.

The sound file you attached was enough for me to be able to read viola's lines in that person's voice. She sounds nice.

My problem with voice acting in VNs is that reading is much faster than speaking, so I end up having already read the sentence while the voice is still playing and that's frustrating. That's why I always mute voices if they're in the game.

Still, I like how Classy Lemon handled them in cinematics. I just don't think they really work outside of them.

The clip sounds strangely close to an Asian accent, but then again, I guess Russia is part of Asia
