You know, Neon mentioned how on the evil route it wouldn't be this demented harem, but a slow decent where the girls act like real people and one by one drop from Guy's life, but this update that kind of hit home.

This sums up why the evil route, as least for me, is much more interesting. Abusing people is not just an excuse for introducing fap material, but also brings with consequences and emotional impacts to MC and, by extension, to the player. In Nicki's case, suffice to say that in my playthrough that consequence came as a poignant cliffhanger.

Now quite some players hate Nicki, but I always find her relationship with MC more dramatic and layered than MC's any other relationship, be it twisted or romantic, with his love interest. Theirs is one that is truly emotionally invested, yet doubly skewed by anger and lust (through the player's choice, of course), and I can't wait to see how the porn-version Monte Cristo is going to salvage or, if possible, further damage it in the next update.

Tbh, I always play the good guy first and then a dick to see all options. I love to be a good guy but most games fail at the. Like most of the time, it feels more self-serving than being good. This story is just doing it the right way. Like it never to me feels cringy. All feels fitting and love the girls and love the date with Ash and helping our future Russian maid hehehehe. Tbh, I doubt this will be a harem and will need to make saves for all girls and it will be pain because fuck don't want to hurt any of them. Hopefully, we get a harem or just a small one so we don't need to run the game 10 times on the good guy path and 10 on the dark one but we will see.

The scope of this game is starting to worry me a little. It's easily a top 3 game for me and even though Ashe was in the lower tier for me, I really enjoyed her storyline which Neon hoped would get more people in her camp. And it did.

But all in all, it feels like not much happened in the world of Friends in Need if you take the last update and this one and think about the time they consumed.

In the dark path, Nicki has left and seems to be gone for example. Resolving that, if Guy doesn't just go and get her for whatever reason, is worthy of a full update on its own.

It's very complicated to put into words, but I can't help but think that it's going to become insanely hard to write and code the game if you want to do every path justice. I'm sure I've also missed tons of scenes due to the nature of how you get to certain points: choose 1,2,2,1 and you get outcome a, choose 2,2,2,1 and you get b, 2,1,1,2 and you get c.. and so on.

I'm sure I'm just very demanding and obnoxious here, but I would've wished for a little more Viola and Risa content here to balance things out.

Maybe I'm worrying for nothing, but for some reason I'm kind of invested in this game not just for the great tits (Shoutout to Brittani and Risa here), but also the project itself, since I'm a big fan of how Neon presents himself in this forum.
