Friends Indeed (Vanilla) - The patreon friendly version that is void of any of the controversial tags/kinks, it's very vanilla compared to the other version. (This version can't be patched, the dark content simply does not exist within this version)
Friends In Need (unpatched) - It is also void of most controversial tags/kinks I'm pretty sure, and I'm not sure what the actual differences are between this version and Friends Indeed. (Probably is a bit less vanilla than the other version)
Friends In Need (patched) - Enables ALL the tags/kinks that aren't patreon safe to the extreme. This includes: sexual assault, rape, incest, blackmail, and the other really dark content. (I don't categorize incest as dark content by the way)
This is all just my understanding of it, so take it with a grain of salt. I'm really not certain how different the unpatched base game and the vanilla version actually are, I know that both are void of certain content, that's all I know really.

Yeah, not everyone likes or cares about her tattoos
I just personally find them really hot on her
Although my two biggest turn-ons are women with short hair & glasses
Thats part of why I find Mason so hot

My guess would be it will be optional, just like many things are in the game. (That's if there even is any sharing in that route)

Yeah honestly surprised I used to feel that way about her tattoo's as usually not so picky about tattoo's on other LI like I am about short hair but I was about hers at first for w/e reason. I agree I love glasses on girls wish they would be on more LI in these games honestly. I might have to give Mason a try next time I play this I honestly didn't play Mason's path as I felt a bit uncomfortable like I would be taking advantage of Mason.

Honestly, Mason is now equal with Nicki for me
And I didn't think anyone would come close to Nicki when I first started playing
I think you'll fall in love with Mason too if you do his romance path

I haven't started yet but what is people's problem with Nicki that they warrant a patch to remove her?

From what I understand it was a joke because of some hate she got or something. I admit I have a bias opinion on her as she is my favorite in this game. But if you want a spoiler reason as to why.
You give her money because her boyfriends puts her up to it after putting her in debt even tho she was against it since she actually sees the MC as a friend first. Then she was stupid enough to give the money to her the boyfriend which put her in even more debt. After finding out all the things her boyfriend did to put her in a bad spot she broke with him. A year later she showed up after having no contact with the MC.
Here is where people really dislike her because they act like she is a gold digger when in fact she was only asking for a place to sleep for a few days. It was the MC's idea to giver her money by giving her a job. She fucked her life up and got into a bad spot instead of asking the MC for more money and help as she was scared and didn't want to ruin their friendship as she didnt want to take advantage of his kindness again since she sees values the friendship more. That's just a short summary but either people see her as a gold digger when she wasn't or they dont accept her reasons for going no contact with the MC for a year since that hurt him.

Yeah, I can see why some wouldn't like her but to have her removed I think is overkill. I like Nicki. I forgave her.
I also like Nicki, so I gave an aggressive, painful ass fucking and took lots of blackmail pictures so she'd keep doing whatever I wanted. Wonderful game.

New player here - Is there (or will be later) a way in this game to skip some Li completely? Like, I don't want to do anything with Viola, will I have option to dump her later in game?

I know on the Dark path you can do dark path stuff and she goes away. I'm not sure if she will go away permanently or not if you dont. Cause I know there is good path option, dark path options and then there is just option in between that is being mean or an asshole. So im not 100% sure if she goes away if you choose the options that are in the middle and just mean to her or not.
Cheers. Weird that people have such an issue with her considering some of the other characters in these games
