Yeah, I agree with u ofc. There are apparently statistics that show adoptive parents are more likely to abuse than biological. I'm sure lots of people kind of already know that instinctively, but man it's depressing that that's our reality. I don't think Carl did any sexual abuse stuff and I don't think he did anything intentionally cruel, but he certainly is cruel nonetheless.yeah the vast majority of fathers love their kids (we are genetically programmed to love and take care of them even), and it's tough to be a parent and make the right decisions. that's a given. Carl also had an education filled with traditions and values from a long history in his family. but, every father has the power to break the tradition for the well being of their kids. it's tough, but it's still a choice. and for all his talk of special people and low character men, he couldn't muster his willpower to make that tough choicethere is a difference though. Risa is not his biological kid, so his genetic programming might not have kicked in, and he is only doing what he sees as his "duty" towards a daughter and for his family, without the actual love, even if he does care about her.
You still have a wide range of choices on the nice guy route as well, you don't become a boring pushover or anything like that tbh. Some of the choices are quite shocking, even. And the corruption route here is similar; it basically amounts to paying them, though you can be meaner or nicer about it and you can decide to bridge into other routes at certain junctures as it progresses.

Sure, I could bang Nicki and do whatever I want to her but it's much more satisfying for me to slowly gain her trust and become her supportive boyfriend.

No one can defeat Brittani's queen place in this game, not even ash, she is close but only just close~
I think you basically lose out on maybe 1 scene in beginning, depending on the girl, if you try to pursue them more like a normal person. You remain on friend route but will eventually get onto a more substantial route if you keep pursuing. Otherwise, you have to be bold and/or creepy lol. For example, pushing Ashe into the alley and going from there to your condo; accepting Brittani after the photoshoot in the bedroom; etc. They'll land you on their paths quicker, including romance, but lots of gentleman here don't like the idea of doing those things. I love it this way; we each get our own unique little pathways depending on preferences

Women like different things. The "perfect game" should have LIs that answer better to jerks and creeps and LIs who like the prince charming. tldr: Working through the early scenes now. Had to fight with Daz a bit, but all's well. Aiming for an August release for Chapter 10, but I'll have a better estimate by the end of this month.
I'll take a look! That Ashe update about killed me, so my brain was leaking out of my ear by the end.. :'D Plus, I honestly need to/plan to go through and unify a lot of the various variables, so everything is simplified/streamlined.

lol now I want this ending for Risa after getting clean and away from drugs I think would be a amazing ending for her. Nicki I think either married or pregnant makes the most sense for her seeing how she plays with Maya.
I can't bring myself to date Ashe, she's super cute but I feel so guilty when I sleep with her then leave to go fuck Risa or Nicki

that's why I don't cheat on Ashe and have a save for every girl I'm interested in. Nicki and Mason are both in my top 3, however Nicki is definitely my favorite. The only ones who could potentially pass her and become my new #1 are Cassie, Ashe, and Mason. Mason might have a chance, depending on how the pet-play stuff with her plays out, and also how their relationship dynamic in general is handled. If both are well done, then possibly Mason could become my favorite. Cassie is more of an Unknown, but I've always really liked younger sister characters. Anyone outside of Nicki, Mason, Ashe and Cassie will never have a chance of becoming my #1. Honestly I think this the kind of game my #1 favorite is going to be switching from update to update. As I like Nicki alot and then after the date with Ashe I was having a hard time deciding. Then in the update before this one when we got to get Nicki to become our girlfriend officially that put her in the lead. Then this update finally made me decide on how I feel about Risa and now she has a spot in my favorite LI list for this game. ( I know you don't like her she is an acquired taste imo as I see why many don't like her and still don't).
Mason is a bit of an unknown to me I need to see more , as I couldn't accept the BJ as I felt like I was taking advantage still never seen that scene to this day. Brittani yeah she is hot and has a good story so far but doesn't hit me the same way as the rest.
Cassie same she is an unknown but I admit it's gonna take alot for me to like her. Maybe this is a bit unfair but I tend to expect better quality storytelling / characters when it comes to incest characters. As I find alot other dev's make incest feel like it's forced or just never makes sense even sometimes a typical porno cliche. Now I think Neon can pull it off it comes to how much time Neon is going put on her character before romance and lewds happen. As there is alot of characters in this game and she is going to come into the story pretty late. It wouldn't be fair unless it's for a story reason to ignore other characters for to long of a period because of that tho I do expect the first Cassie update to barley include other characters.

I really like thicc girls, I like slim girls too, but only when petite, usually. I also prefer medium to long hair over short/shaved hair. I also really like blondes. And lastly for me personally, Ashe has the perfect personality for me, she's submissive in the bedroom and likes it rough, but you wouldn't be able to tell that just by looking at her or talking to her normally. She's also smart, doesn't have an ego, and is just really really kinky in general. The only downside to Ashe for me is her valley girl speak, but at least she doesn't talk that way because she wants to or thinks it's cool.
Mason on the other hand, is into pet-play, so similarly to Ashe liking it rough, that's a plus for me. I think Mason looks good, and does have a nice body. Not a fan of the hair at all though, and also there's a lot of trauma and baggage to work through. I don't mind it, but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to date someone who's that delicate, if I knew about it beforehand. If it wasn't for the trauma and the delicacy of Mason, I would probably have her at my #2. The story is still developing though, same with the characters, so who knows where the characters will end up on my list a few updates from now.
All I know is that Risa and Alex will likely always be my two least favorites... unless Madison ends up being vile.
