Also, btw, I just wanted to say about the latest update post here: I'm really, really, really pleased that you're going to be offering casual 1-off encounters in various chapters with some of the non-LI hotties you've introduced, Neon 
I, too, liked that hotel lady and was wondering if there were any plans.
The only thing that will be a bummer, from both your perspective and ours really, is that some people might decide their favorite character is a one-off character and then beg for an upgrade to official LI status
Mayyyyybe you could offer endings for some of the minor characters if someone liked them that much without dedicating all of the renders & writing that a full-fledged LI would get. Some classical hentai games did that from memory. Don't know if you've already considered or made a decision on that Neon? But either way, it's gonna be refreshing and just generally a blast I think! Especially because, I have to admit, I have a cheating kink in these kinds of games 'cause it's something I would never do in RL. So, this sounds like it will definitely satisfy that!

Nah, most people agree that 21 is the magical number for adult stuff. This has been an argument for a very, very long time, nothing I'm saying is unusual. For example, I think certain military stuff should be 21 as well. Problem is every nation in the world right now is struggling with demographics, especially military, so that'll probably never happen in America for example. But sex work (porn star etc.) could easily fit in, I'd bet most citizens would vote for that. I've heard multiple porn stars say as much.
I don't know what people in the future will think.. maybe they'll up it, the whole "brain isn't done developing until 25" argument.. which while true, I think is pretty ridiculous to settle on. But hey, this kinda stuff is always evolving over time, just gotta trust future generations to make the right decision. All I can say is that right now in current times, most everyone agrees 21 is a great age to land on.

Consider the drinking ages in different countries, and how they've changed over the years. There have been discussions about lowering the voting age to 16, and changes to what age is considered to be an adult for legal purposes and obligations. Not to mention the range of the age of consent throughout the world, and how it has fluctuated through the decades.
Essentially what I'm saying is that societal, moral, and ethical views vary greatly around the world, and even among individuals.
That being said, due to the emotional implications of those above, what science says about mental development is largely ignored, regardless of how "right or wrong".
This is a really controversial and tough topic of discussion, with lots of varying opinions, where finding a consensus is a bit harder than expected. Add to that the motivations of people who are fighting for or against such changes, and it makes it even more complicated.
I think the first thing that needs to happen is that sex work needs to be seen as a legitimate job, and then basic protections could be in place like any other employment. Until that happens, changing the age will remain secondary at best.
