I love the new Nikki, she fits really well with the "medium" whore path i choose for her. I tried the rape path, wow!! it was really exciting and tough, i liked it but finally i choose just the whore path. I actually agree, which is why it's been a low priority up until now. (;-_-) But, I suppose it would be better to have it as an option, than not. Fortunately Humble Bundle recently had a giant bundle of royalty-free music for $20, so I grabbed that. Unfortunately it was a massive collection of music, so combing through it to find appropriate tunes has been a bit daunting.
Fair enough! You know, vanilla and chocolate are the best-selling ice cream flavors, year after year. But, they keep making butter pecan, because some people really like it. Nicki's kind of like butter pecan.
I'll be honest, my personal approach to introducing girls in the game is a one-for-me, one-for-them model. I like spunky little tomboys, so Nicki's for me. Most people like blondes with big tits, so Ashe is for them. I like black girls and alt girls, so Gabby's for me. Most people like MILFs, so Madison is for them. So on and so forth. I'm not super big into incest, but Cassie is going into the game, because I know a lot of people will enjoy that kink, and I think I can approach that relationship in a way that isn't silly in the way porn games so often are.

I actually liked her intro to the game, it adds mystery to it and a slight revelation that he's thinking of his sister in one way or the other ( at that point in time.)

What a great follow up to the first chapter with it's multiple way to play it out.
Really like AVNs / game where you do not get to see everything in one playthrough.
Added a sex scene, prolly with a reoccuring character and added 2 new lewd interests
and ending it with a good cliffhanger. Great work.
Personally, I am not too thrilled about Nikki's new look (read: the tattoos) but what
can I do?! Oh wait, I could whine about it on a anonymus internet board!!!
Some reasoning for not liking Nikki with tats:
1st) From the 1 chapter I got the impression, maybe I got it wrong, that Nikki is supposed
to be the girl next door type with slight tendencies for nerdy stuff.
2nd) I got the impression that Nikki was supposed to be the ideal girl for the MC
despite their age difference.
3rd) I hope for a harem route / ending with Nikki as the main girl.
And thus I really would have liked the original Nikki for the nice guy route.
For other routes, it would be fitting imo.
But...beggars can't be choosers.
I don't dislike girls with tats. Give us a character who's a bit tomboyish and feisty
and who got tats as a way to say eff you to folk who expect her to act girly.
Anyhoo. Great update. 4 out 5 stars because, you know, tats on the wrong char!

Tattooing her to make her look brave?I'm a bit confused by how the game "had potential" but also literally the first chapter turned you off.
Also, hopefully you understand why I can't implement unlimited choices accounting for everyone's sensibilities. I try to provide as many options as I can, being a one-man artist, coder, and promoter. I didn't have experience doing any of these things six months ago.
Honestly, I feel it's worse when games try to gloss over horrible things, or treat it with such an elevated sense of drama that it becomes silly. The evil MC in FiN isn't a scheming mastermind, and the girl's never going to suddenly decide she likes it halfway through, or some nonsense like that. You nailed it - it's a scumbag route. He's an everyday sort of evil, who can wield money and influence to feed his own ego. But, we'll see how long he can keep this up for.
I don't really think her bad route is "ultra evil." MC was pretty fair-handed with her, compared to how he may have treated Ashe and Nicki. My plan is to have her bad route diverge in the near future - the fact that the MC paid her off for a handy is a clue as to how he might control her. After all, she's a young woman from a family that doesn't have much money. She lives in an attic with a window that faces another building's brick wall. Her interests are ignored by her parents. A rich, older guy who can give her a life of luxury, in exchange for favors, could be attractive to a young woman like that.
Thanks so much! Nicki does have some tats in the banner, but she's turned in such a way they're not entirely visible. They'll be permanent. I think they make her look spunky.
And yeah, Ashe was a surprise to me. Originally she was just going to be in a single scene as an unnamed bimbo the MC is sleeping with, to show he's become a bit of a playboy. But once I started writing for her, she kind of came alive. The reluctant path where she drops all the "um's" and "like's" from her speech crystallized her in my mind. She's a character that fits every ditzy blonde cliche, but it's 90% because she's nervous and unsure of herself. As soon as she realizes what the MC wants, the anxiety is gone. She's been objectified by men her entire life, and he's just one more that wants to fuck her, and if that's what it takes to keep her job? Fine, whatever. Made me both very sad for her, and very happy to write that good morning scene for her with the MC.
Gabby's still my fave, though.
Thank you! I wanted to consciously steer away from the usual tropes you get with younger women in these games. Just because she's young, that doesn't mean she's stupid, naive, or saccharine sweet. She's allowed to lash out and get frustrated in a moment of grief.
I hope that players will only grow more invested in these characters as their stories unfurl.
I'll address both of these - I love women, romance, and cuddly warm fuzzies. The disclaimer at the top of the game about separating fantasy from reality, and the importance of consent and boundaries, isn't just some boilerplate bullshit I put there so I could dust my hands off and absolve myself of anyone taking the game the wrong way. I mean that stuff, and I want everyone to know I mean it.
I disagree about what the game fundamentally is, I suppose. I'm reminded of this anecdote about infamous porn star/producer, Rocco Siffredi. Now, he's famous for rough porn, degradation, etc. Supposedly he had a shoot scheduled with a bunch of Russian girls and Russian guys. So, he calls action on a scene, and these guys just start laying into these girls. Punching them in the stomach, shoving their fingers in their throats, the whole nine. Just heinous, violent shit.
Rocco calls cut and asks what the fuck they're doing, and the guys are like, "This is what you do! This is what's in your movies." And from this, Rocco understands he's failed. He explains to the guys that his movies are not about violence, they're about a push and pull, a give and take. Bringing someone low, and then nurturing them back up again. That's how I see my game. The sour can't exist without the sweet.
But uh, all that said, I think Rocco is kind of a scumbag who preys on poor women from poor countries, whose bet chance of making money is to let a leathery old guy sodomize them for an hour. This is also why I enjoy VNs and illustrated porn. It's the possibility of guilt-free extreme content, because at the end of the day, nobody is actually going home feeling used and beaten down. Nobody's blowing Harvey Weinstein in a hotel room for a job. It's all pixels and make-believe.
I'll be honest, even on the good route, I don't think the MC is a saint. He's kind of a grumpy curmudgeon, who's terminally horny. And he's still not above slapping a girl in bed (after asking or being asked to) and he can be a bit rude about pushing boundaries.
The growing choices will naturally take more time as they grow more complex, but so far I'm happy with how I'm handling it. I'd previously written a scene that I had to toss out, involving Gabby interacting with Cassie, and it wasn't too onerous to code. Hopefully I can continue to defy expectations.
Have you read a comic called Metamorphosis, if not, I hope you don't read it in your life, I think Nikki's situation is a bit like the heroine in it,I don't think tattooing it makes her brave, on the contrary when I saw that scene I thought she was stupid,
She needs money in the first chapter, and then she has a bunch of tattoos in the second chapter.
Tattooing is not a low cost in my country, she sniffed a bunch of tattoos when she had no money, Tattooed girls are hot, but not in this case, and in Nikki's case only deepened my negative view of her.
I must say chapter 2 is great, except for the Nikki part, great game, you did a great job.

Since we have no idea what happened to her during those 3 months we have no idea why she has the tattoo's or how she got them. Maybe be a little patient and for the explanation in the next update.

If you're talking specifically about how to balance being nice to one girl, and kind of a prick to another, I touched on that a few pages back. Basically, my solution is to have the MC's inner monologue drift in one direction or another, as the player moves along the alignment axis. Doing bad things earns you points for bad behavior, and vice versa. So, you can still choose to be nice to a girl, but your character may have a more lecherous POV than a more good-hearted character.

I really don't know what happened in three months, who knows, but this isn't the first time Nikki has called for help,
The first time you can say that she was cheated by her boyfriend, the second time I don't know, why did you want to find the MC at this point, she could have called for help earlier.
I know a lot has happened to her in 3 months, and I can think of a few, referring to what happened in the comics, but that still makes her look stupid.

The game is good, but this chapter is missing something to be as good as the previous one. I couldn't say what exactly. But there are details that I liked less. Tomorrow I'll try other routes, maybe that's it. But, for example, with the blonde girl (I don't remember her name), I didn't like that she immediately undress to her panties and bra. I would have liked a little more resistance. A little more pressure. And then, once blackmailed, some more humiliation. But I already say that perhaps I have not made the right decisions for the route that I would like (blackmail route).
And with the other girl, the adopted black one, I also lacked a little more resistance. Some more pressure. Tell her you're going to buy her mother's bookstore, and throw her out. Threaten her more. Blackmail her, definitely.
Anyway, I liked both models. I find it very hot that the blonde bimbo was so shy at first (that's why she surprised me that she immediately went into her panties with almost no pressure). I kinda agree.
Since having a sleeve has become hip and trendy tattooing sure costs a lot.
It was never cheap but nowadays there are tattoo parlors IN the mall!!
Back in my days they were in the shady part of town and back then
a girl with visible tats was brave.
Also keep in mind some holes in the story are no deal breaker
or we would have never had the great action movies of the 80s and 90s!

Hey, thanks for your comments! I think that lack of "resistance" is kind of down to the characters.
Ashe is just fed up with you by that point, and willing to get it over with. By her demeanor, I think you can tell that she's resigned to what's going to happen, due to her short, clipped answers and lack of giggly valley girl talk. And Gabby is young enough that she's too scared to push back. She doesn't find her spine until Madison comes home.
The future will bring more characters, who may be willing to push back against you.
As for Subscribestar - honestly, I made one but I haven't launched it yet. I don't love the idea of splitting my community, and having to manage two different spaces. But, I have it in case Patreon gets a bee in their bonnet, and I need to migrate over there.
I also have an Itchio that I haven't used yet, but that will be a possibility in the future. I kind of want to remaster Chapter One, before I start uploading it there.
