Hi there everyone, I just wanted to briefly talk about what's going on and where things are headed. With the most recent update, I did run into some issues with trying to get both storylines finished which lead to it taking far too long to release. So now with 1.4.5, though I am still planning on both Alex and Liam's storylines, what I'm going to do is, if it's taking too long and one of them is already finished, then I'll just release that part. So it might get split into two updates, but I'd rather that than going for long without anything coming out.
To clarify then, 1.4.5 will be:
- Alex's story content*
- Liam's story content*
- Some change/additions to the chapel
- Changes to Arousal and new events with it
Of course, along with other necessary fixes and changes.
I'm hopeful that I can get both storylines done for one update, but I don't want a repeat of the previous update, so if I need to I will split it. Then, following all of that, it'll finally be time to head into 1.5! I'll talk more about it once we're at that point, but it WILL be a longer update as it will be a bigger addition to the game than a typical update, so I hope that you all look forward to it!
One last bit that I need to touch on, as I mentioned it briefly in the update post: stress about current events. I'm sure most of you know, but for those who haven't seen it, things surrounding mature type content have gotten very shaky. The game was actually shadow banned on Itch.io along with other adult games recently, but thankfully it has been restored as of a few days ago. I am afraid that things will continue to get worse in that regard and it does make it more stressful to keep working on this sort of thing, but I do want to say that I'm not giving up! Until I am literally under threat of being arrested, I will continue working towards finishing the game!
