My guess is probably because the color is technically an outfit which from what I can tell, outfits as a whole don't appear in most sex scenes unless set that way intentionally.

Yeah, I don't get the < 3 stars reviews either. One post said too many words and not enough art (how long does it take you to do every piece of art?). Your art has vastly improved since the first game (I keep anticipating on what the new or reoccurring characters look like). Isn't that what sequels do, introduce new stuff etc while building upon the original narrative? Granted the Act 1 finale before the HUGE rewrite was predictable and bland but now it's all good. I like talking to every character, the sense of individual personalities and what the MC says to each. You can't please everybody (true for every artist). Don't forget what your goal is, to please everybody or have a story flushed out of your imagination. Honestly, I like the story more than the sex scenes (all fluff, though that is the main concept of "mares in heat").
i quite like the game granted i an not towards the end of the new update but some time near the end i would like to have a options to marry someone of your choosing.
I can only speak for myself, but i think a bit more of story and world lore to tie all the personal drama in act 1 could have helped the pace.

Psshh... don't listen to the haters. Full Disclosure: I haven't played this latest version yet (last I played was 0.8.0) but I love it. A worthy successor to the original. I've loved all your games so far, especially the little crossover events (thank you again for fulfilling my dream of seggs with Juggernaut from MG1K in Unveiling).
From where I'm looking, this is a more than worthy sequel to the original. The original was basically romance the main six (copyright respected lol), sidequests, then fight Morrigan, then postgame. This has two story Acts so far, more interesting characterization, and manages to capture a lot of Original Flavor from S1-S3 by having the world always be ending due to one thing or another, requiring the seemingly near-constant intervention of the Virtues. The one little thing I could ask for is some stronger cueing for when a dialogue choice is going to affect the entire story segment vs when it's either fluff ("talk to everyone before proceeding" type of thing) or gonna railroad you towards a single story outcome anyway. Oh, and maybe for Butters to be a bit less thicc?
I like thick Butters , i support the decision to make her chubby.
