Granted, there was the exception of human Aurora/Celestia in the first game (you know, humans compatible with humans). Forgot how that went down in terms of pregnancy (OG Dawn was there). Anyway, OG Butters had the same fertility image used here and there but she was not pregnant. It was the effects of the milky potions she made that gave her milky breasts (a symptom of pregnancy for horses maybe in their universe). Again, it's not the true ending. Also, perhaps the only explanation for bypassing this in the 2nd game could be the enhanced sperm powers the MC gains this time around (Unless Scarlett confirms this). The Ultimate Element of Cum.

Yes. It's all "power based" in this game only. MC got a MAJOR upgrade to his junk this time around. Queen Augusta clued him in on how to channel it better followed by him fucking Blackcurrant to demonstrate. From then on, the power could be a little too powerful in the love department. Possible indicator to bypass human compatibility to mare fertility.
Well, one thing's for sure is that Changelings/Formlings can fuck anything and suck the love from certain species to repopulate like bugs or insects that they are. So no difference in that whatsoever. Forever pregnant with Morrigan/Chrysalis waifus.
