The moral-faggery of Yuhi the ShonenProtag™ is mostly for show to give the player a false sense of security. The first chapter is really more about setting the tone -an then resetting it abruptly- than anything. It's nothing like the actual game as will become very apparent very quickly.

Thanks for the response! I'm currently on Chapter 2 and it's been interesting to read. I had a bad view of the game after seeing the posts before mine saying this and that about the game but overall after giving it a try it doesn't seem as bad for now.

Then you'll hate the "Hero" aka Ayane route, just like I did. Honestly, you can probably skip most if not all of it, or at the very least the last chapter, without losing anything other than annoyance. The other routes aren't so in your face about the moralfagging and "kIllIng bAd PeoPLE maKes yOu aS bAd AS thEY aRE" (no, it doesn't).

I don't think that you should judge the quality of the game based on a porn site where most people visit just to find something to fap on. It's the 7th highest ranked visual novel on vndb.

With more than 50% of people rating it as 10/10 (1609 votes vs 3186 votes total). You can consider it as the Breaking Bad or the Game of Thrones among visual novels, at least in terms of the love the game receives in the community. The last majority of the reviews are 10/10 as well, with just a few exceptions. But as the saying goes, you can always find a person who will hate anything, there're guys who consider model-looking girls ugly and are obsessed with land whales, instead.

You're right about the judge part since I didn't even consider checking out vndb or a more focused vn site instead of here. Btw currently on Conqueror Route now. As far as it goes the game it's good, but honestly about Hero Route...

My thoughts after finishing this game is it will change your world view, your person
Truly a master piece even time won't affecting it good

Like some comment before i literally drop the game after chapter 1 when the kids die , but you know after ignore it for 3 months the feeling of wanted to know what happen , because why so i come back and end up clearing the whole game

In my opinion i watch many story/game/anime include high rating one of course like Maggot Bait , Rance series , Fate series, Vinland Saga etc with guro , blood shed but if you sit back and look at these story they lack a factor that is Muramasa have they not: moral .Closed one is emiya vs archer in Fate UBW but even if that it didn't showing well the burden , weight of those you kill. Vinland showing well in SS2 but the downside is the people near him didn't so it like only him is growing up while Muramasa easiest example is Ichijo

I see some comment saying that mc aka Kageaki is a bitch whiny about killing, morally stuff but pretty much the whole story showing if you're a ficking evil one as living like Rokuhara then killing is easy but people would suffering and it could be your family
I can understand some people can't favor Kageaki but his story is like many people include me - having a family and teaching that be a good , well education person never do bad things so that why mc is pretty much loss his mind when have to fighting while bearing the Law of Balance curse alone ( Little spoiler is at the time he get the curse he have no other choice )

Some part in the end is too much (ship , math ,moon) the rest is perfect to the smallest villain
Like it or not , if you're a pro visual novel reader skip it is waste half of your life ( just make sure you can handle blood and killing)

This is the worst game i've ever wasted my time on. The fighting scenes are WAY too long! I've spent hours skipping through the game and theres fighting scenes that last like 5-10 mins even while skipping at full speed! I mean..... Jesus christ almighty. Don't waste your time unless you enjoy long fighting scenes.

1) If someone would read VN fully in attempt to get to a 'good part' which never happened and therefore criticized the VN then you say: "Lol, why did you read it?!". Because it's not like this VN's rating is pure misrepresentation made by small mental fanbase which tend to rate edgy crap with 10/10 and then call it a philosophical masterpiece. Flying mechanical samurais in the 1930s, what a circus. Life is invaluable and there is no ultimate justice, cool, five minutes later - let's kill people like life is nothing and like it's all for justice, yeah, nice coherence you have there.
