And somehow, the second one seems... worse than the first one.
The first couple of games from this developer seemed to have a decent gap between them.
The last few have all come out within a couple of weeks from each-other, so it looks like the devs are now just crapping them out in bulk hoping for a quick cash-out before moving on.
Create 3-6 characters with a couple of very short animations, attach a mini-game to it, re-use unfinished UI from previous game, proceed to ignore all previous titles released, and repeat.
Before the end of the year, probably expect them to put out games with:
- Match 3/Bejeweled/Candy crush
- Rock-paper-scissors
- Bubble-bobble or Tetris (Probably tetris, less math/position correction)
- Card flipping/matching
- Don't have good summary name, but the minigame seen in a number of places such as Professor Layton or Bloody Spell of a key or ball in a box that can only move in a straight line that is trapped by 1x2 or 1x3 blocks you can only move depending on which way they are facing.
- If we are lucky, the fake ads from the mobile games hero wars/evony since they look like they would be fun for at least an hour or two before getting old.
Wouldn't complain if they at least wrapped up some of the polish on older titles before bum rushing the next one out, at least Critical Bliss mentioned going back to rework old title(s) some, though their biggest issue was old OS support.
