if you payed in 22 and then canceled, you get client with version 2. you can log in into your versiion, download models for your version, but future versions and models for those arent available for you until you decides to pay again

They don't distribute the builds through patreon, but their own site. They just use your patreon auth to check if you've ever had the necessary tier. Once you've paid at least once, you have full access to newest builds and all ingame features.

Literally the only thing you're missing out on is "OwO" credits and voting for suggestions. I'm guessing these were in the tier above 12$.

Yes, that's exactly how the devs have set it up.
I've only subbed for two months when the interactions got implemented, because that's what I felt the game was worth for me, and yet not only I still have full access to the game, I can download new builds as well.

That is not true and highly misleading, I paid for total 24 dollars over two months in Feb and stopped in April this year and today I tried to login the

it says "Pledge is less than $12. " so unless if you pay 12 dollars every month, you don't even be able to download old versions.

You will not however have access to builds published in later months, unless you pledge for those months as well. You will have to pledge $12 to get access to the build tier, all in 1 go. If a character or interaction is uploaded with a newer version, you can't load it. You may be able to load an older version of the character, if they exist. Scroll down to "Show previous versions" if there is such a button.

I figured it out. Although the version posted here seems identical, the only one you download from the Patrion is able to access the cloud content.
