I actually managed to find a file that had the game version in plain text. "FurryVNE_Data\resources.assets"
The file is pretty big so its annoying to edit since most text edits cant actually open it. Sadly after changing it the crack stopped working.
Idk programming so idk how to fix it.

thats because the game Heavily check some data for the process of offline login and GameVersion is one of them so if you edit it the game will stop working because check will fail imagine if it wasnt the case we could 100% use old byte file to bypass login they dont want that to append at all that will mean we can ban 1 account and use it forever

and as they use some HMAC sorcery to authenticate offline in general any editing of some key variable will kill the crack game or actual authentication against the byte file so you need to do that a bit differently but its possible ;)

Went ahead and forked over the $10 for a legit copy, will upload it uncracked and poke around the files.
Uncracked copy:
You must be registered to see the links

Got through the authentication process, and it seems pretty robust. Likely grabs some browser cookies set by Patreon or something, since the game opens a browser window that then auto-authenticates. Even getting to the download link means signing in through this automatic authentication from Patreon.
I wish I knew more about this kind of programming, maybe I'd be able to tell what it's doing.

it set cookie then download a small file that is signed by your hardware footprint then when the verify process occur the file is decrypted and they use a set of "password" to check if your pc match the footprint using HMAC:

But they dont use it as it should be they took some liberty and doing so its way to harder to break and as they seem to use it wrong you cant rely on what you know of the process 100% you need to take some guess

also the .byte file contain information the game NEED and you cant get the game without the file because without this a lots of thing go wrong

i will not describe my method to bypass this shit but you need a valid account to dothe hack because you need to access the game with a known footprint to make this work and you NEED a valid file you cant fake it

they check game version, HWID, and more they created a good cheap DRM that is garbage because the game is fucked the day the backend goes to shit
