Honestly, I didn't pay much attention to the text, and from the little I've seen, I don't really think it's worth the trouble. With how the story is going, the pictures /animations (and I hope soon a bit a sound effect as well) will do for me.

It happens in humans too as a malformation at birth. Just very rare. If you wanna talk about a human that is born female, can give birth but has a fat phallus and balls instead of a typical vagina then that sounds like a valid rationalization for this fictional human to me.
