Actually am completely in love with this kind of story -- by which I mean one with some weight emotionally -- in conjunction with the futadom genre. The centaur stuff is cool too I guess, but I really feel its the interpersonal conflict between PC and grieving step-mom that hits.

Yeah as annoying as he is, this is definitely a "Patreon being a dick" issue
Patreon is so annoying about policy's and will make a dev remove or change aspects of their game to follow it

Yeah I think I heard/saw somewhere that Patreon is cracking down a bit on the futaHorseCocks and centaur-likes since well, animal-related.

They have been doing this for a while... They kinda have two problems, and that's why it's neither officially banned nor allowed:
- there are major AAA game franchises with romanceable centaur or adjacent characters, so they have a credibility problem
- there are centaurs fucking humans all over ancient mythology, so unless they put a blanket ban on anything greek or roman inspired, they won't be able to scale up enforcement
That just shows the hypocrisy of it all, but it also offers venues to avoid the ban: either make parody versions of AAA games (allowed under the parody exemption to copyright, if it's clearly enough a parody) or use existing mythological characters as a template (pretty unassailable: oh, what, you are going to ban adaptations of stuff that is on the high-shcool literature curriculum?)
