Time is important and people don’t like spending their time for nothing in return. You should trade with fair value. If you are demanding that someone create something using their time and offering nothing in return there is a word for that. It’s called slavery. No stranger is going to share a product with you just because you demand it. If they do it is out of their own kindness and a gift from them to us.My personal problem with Patreon and similar platforms is not that creators want money for their creations (which is reasonable), it's that they demand it. Patreon was supposed to be about donations, not pay-2-use content. And if that weren't bad enough, a lot of "creators" actually cheat people by disappearing after they get a certain sum of money. Whatever happened to making stuff simply because you like making stuff and wanting to share it with others?
