Well they did said Sally was almost ready before (they were wondering which release was going to happen first: Wallis Part 1 or Sally) and so long as it is only a single update i won't mind much.
She is not one of my favorite (far from it) but i can wait for a bit...

To be fair a few decisions may lead to different outcomes but nothing that reloading a previous save won't fix.
By the way the first thing you need to do is grind stats at the school and gym before trying to follow any girl route. I also recommend doing the "friends with benefits" route for Suni to free the protagonist from paying the males tax.
Follow those recommendations and no walkthrough is required.
