As I'm sure you've noticed, I'm a little bit late with the update. I have been out of town for the past week and a half, and forgot to let you all know in last month's post.
We'll get to the WIP stuff in a bit, but I'm going to be up front with you. There's still a fair bit that's not done yet. So what I'm going to do is get everything that is completed ready and do a smaller release in about two weeks. After that, we'll release events as they are ready, hopefully monthly.
Now for the WIP bits!
The lifeguard scene we mentioned last month has come along nicely and will be included in the release.


Alrighty! Anything else would be giving away too much of the fun, so that'll be it for now.

As always, thank you all for your support and we'll see you in about two weeks!

These guys progress in the same way that a hamister runs on its cylinder in a cage. They're powered by wind generated by a crank, that's a bad joke.

The game will soon be 10 years old. Over the years, they have really accomplished a lot. But some other games have been updated two or three times, while this game has only been updated once. Their problem is the same as their advantage: they work as a team, not just one person. The advantage is that it's easier, and the disadvantage is that it takes forever to wait. They promised so much that it's ridiculous to listen to new promises every time. Especially the promise to release a few updates every month, as was the case with Mallory.

And so much promise that they're like politicians who promise to do something, but when elected "forget" what they've said. This game should be complete or close to it after all these years, it's been a decade, look how crazy it is. The way they're managing Renee's dull updates is sad, man I've always liked this game but the way they dictate the pace is pathetic. Empty promises.

They promised Renee three years ago...

I used to be very active here. I wrote various posts, argued with all sorts of nasty people, and for that my first account was banned here. I defended the developers because I believed in them, but everything comes to an end.

Starting a new route with a new central character with potential but the first two updates about that SAME character who should be the FOCUS, there is no minimally significant participation of that same character which is tragic.

I have not yet had the chance to check it out, but beware that it has been cut short, because they are still waiting on some art for later Renee events. This is the next 3 Renee events plus some extra stuff to hold people over. I would have preferred for them to just wait for the full thing, but peoples whining must have gotten to them...

This happens after Camisa Roja calls and I answer his question on Day 15. Wont let me progress beyond this. What can I do?

There is a game file called "recCenterLifeDrawing.rpy" in a folder called "script" which calls the label "Renee_TimesUp". Ren'Py is telling you that it cannot locate a corresponding label in any of the .rpy files with the name "Renee_TimesUp".

The label likely exists, but its label name does not match the name "Renee_TimesUp". The most likely explanation is that there's a typo, such as "label Renee_TimsUp" or something like that. So the label probably exists, but Ren'Py can't find it because the name of the label doesn't match the name of the label being called. Specifically, Ren'Py is saying that there is no label that exists which has the name "Renee_TimesUp" therefore it cannot call a label which doesn't exist.

The solution is to locate the label that the game intended to call and change its title to match the call title.

Or the label doesn't exist at all, because the developers forgot to include it. (But that's not likely.)
