How is it that this game has been in development since 2015 and still not done? Are the patreon moonies that good?

Just think of the number of games that have been released in the last 10 years that are higher quality than this that have released completed and this STILL isn't done. They released the first part of a route that was promised over a year ago and it's only 15 minutes long.

I don't think being completed is the issue. I won't mind if Star Periphery goes on for 10 more years. The disappointing part is that they were never very productive, but now it feels like a bad joke.
But they are not robbing anyone, if people are willing to give them money for nothing who am I to say they are wrong.

The most impressive thing is that in SP only one person creates and manages everything, and that person does a great job delivering good, consistent updates. This one, on the other hand, has a "team" and even so disappoints when it comes to delivering content with weak and unappealing updates.

It's been so many years, and the game still exists somehow. This is the game that is milked for 3-4k bucks a month. By the way, they hid the number of subscribers, although there were less than 1k. There was a month when there were 1.2k, but it probably won't happen again.
When Mallory's path was being developed, I was with them in their Slack group. I saw a bunch of stuff, different art, ideas, voting, etc. I was probably the first person to see Renee's cameo and her animation. It was incredible. But that was back when they were actually making the game, not just making money from it. For 50 dollars I could get my name in the game and get an invitation to Slack. But I really doubt that someone today will spend 500 bucks for an update that will be released in six months.

I used to support this game, being my favorite FoM content. But the updates seem to get worse every time. We need passionate people to take over this game, it's such a shame!!

. He seems very motivated and regularly puts out content. The game is fun and is having a promising evolution. Not story oriented though, but apparently the creator wants to take this direction for the upcoming updates. Good art too imo. Definitely worth checking out!

Okay, I went out of my way to test it all. I deleted all app data and got a fresh game completely restarting from the beginning, and still the error happened. So, my hands are tied here, I guess I'll have to wait for a patch, or a later update.

These guys are a joke. It's not enough that they take forever to deliver an update that is at least decent, it comes with errors and bugs that the team responsible doesn't even seem to care about. The Android version has not been updated for a long time, the Renee route that does not appear, etc... I'm surprised they still have a reasonable number of subscribers, who pay to receive totally questionable and bad content. It reminds me of a dev called Alek, who also makes games and cheats his subscribers.

The Steam page says April 15th 2015. So is the page wrong? I'm sure someone can comb the patreon to see the "official" date, but I'm not.

For me is that it's been so long and they had a strong start to generic. It started with Viki and Suni being complete (1 love story and 1 worker joe love story), or at least when I started, and the characters got worse from there. The other characters are basically a r@pe sim, or very abusive, just like a lot of the other VNs, or futa/male comics. They had 10 year to flesh out the stuff and a lot of it is meh with no variation or too linear.

I kinda think Tatsugaya and JackPhallus are spot on.

One of my favorite VN makers is Winter Wolves. She's been making games since 2008 and has 38 games out, not including DLCs. That's roughly 2.2 games a year. She regularly gives updates and bug fixes to a lot of them. If they even had HALF her work ethic they could have made who knows how many now.

Для мене це те, що минуло так багато часу, і вони мали сильний старт для генериків. Все почалося з того, що Вікі та Суні були повними (1 історія кохання та 1 історія кохання робітника Джо), або, принаймні, коли я почав, і звідти персонажі стали гіршими. Інші персонажі в основному ar@pe sim, або дуже образливі, як і багато інших VN, або фута/чоловічі комікси. У них було 10 років, щоб розробити матеріал, і багато з цього є мех без варіацій або занадто лінійним.

Я вважаю, що Тацугая та Джек Фаллус на місці.

MIF route was an option on the poll for route a while ago
with them getting some content anways i can see it happen, at some point.

I'm having the same issue. I thought it was because I was using old saves initially, but it does the same thing on new games.
