Haters' discourse is not usually characterized by deep and well-founded logic; it is almost always sophisms that appear to be true but collapse when the facts are presented.
Oh... A month ago, this wasn't visible. Well, okay. Let them continue to develop, but if they promised mini updates to Rene every month, that's better than every six months.
I've been involved in this discussion since version 0.3.

I used to defend them too. But then I realized that they were either wasting time and money on something else, or they were just tired. I stopped supporting them at high levels two years ago. It doesn't make sense to me.
This is my second account, as the first one was blocked because I defended them and argued with real haters.

First of all, I'm not defending anyone; I just find it irritating to be lied to, and the whole paying subscriber thing was a lie to argue something that's real.
In other words, it was unnecessary. For the simple reason that you're right that the game's quality has dropped, but that doesn't mean financial support has too.
As for the other thing, I don't doubt that at one time you were a big fan of the game and that you've been here practically since development began... but that's no argument to say: I'm not a hater.
Many fans end up becoming haters over time. Also, your comment, for which you responded to me, was defending someone whose first line was:
This doesn't seem to reinforce the idea that you're not a hater.
Finally, I recommend that if your account really got banned here... don't say it. You should be smarter. If the moderators see you're circumventing a ban with an alternate account, they can ban you again if they want.
Note: This is getting off topic. If you want to reply to me further, you should do so privately. I also think this last batch of comments will be deleted by the moderators for going off-topic, or maybe it doesn't, depending on who's moderating the thread. Haha.

However, since i'm here let's discuss the subscribers matter.
A number always needs to be put into context.
These games rarely gain a following without F95. The first fanbase you build as a developer is always here. If the people who have been here for years have realized this game has become a soulless scam, there must be a reason. It's not that we want everything right away. We simply realized that all of a sudden they started taking their sweet time even with minor updates, and the quality dropped, along with the number of animations. Further proof is that their servility towards their supporters is false, because every year they conduct a survey on what they want from the team and the game, and they promptly throw it away.
Returning to the patreon members, what the dude told you is actually true. I'd hide my paying member numbers if things aren't going well. Ofc they're gonna unveil it when they drop an update because new people (or simply the ones who only support a creator and don't mind spending money to have the update right away) are gonna subscribe to their patreon in the heat.
Also a big number doesn't reflect the actual quality of the product. Simpsons and Family Guy are shows with a great history of entertainment but look at them now. iPhones are expensive phones, costing much more than one of those new hi-tech refrigerators, but they offer nothing more than the competition because they've run out of ideas. They have to deal with the fact that phone technology has given what it had to give. League of Legends has hidden its player/game count because it got streamlined so much to pander to the new retarded audience it became soulless. They still make millions, but how long can this last? Everything ends sooner or later. The creators of this game are no different. They have to deal with the fact that if they don't get their shit together, their creation will die.
The fact that people can spend time and money on these devs so that they can churn out a "Completed" tag sickens me. There's your "deep and well-founded" logic right there.

This. But FDW as a game is saturated at this point, the artstyles vary wildly, and rather than continue to beat the dead horse, should try and launch a new game in the FDW universe with a different background so that they can slap the FDW 2 sticker on it.

I refuse to believe that an adult visual novel that use renpy and draw art and get funded by fans from patreon can take 10 months for a single update that is small, disapointing and uncomplete, like wtf at this point GTA6 developpement will be shorter when FDW get completed

I'm a simple girl, I'm into dom/sub stuff but this is was just unnecessarily cruel. I've never seen a game with so many horrible rapists in it. I know it's just their "way" they are in their futa empire or whatever but this whole game just seems like an ass rape fantasy, not a dom or whatever a "binding" sim is. There's maybe two futas you can pick that will actually form a connection with you. The others will literally just rape you until your brain stops working. Not into that, that isn't domination. That's just forced sex.
Would be nice to see stories/games where futanari are depicted as actual characters instead of sex-crazed turbo rapists with super strength and magic cum that lobotomizes you. That depiction is really getting old.
