the files for the extras that the two mega links go to are gone. are there working ones in the thread somewhere or do they just need to be reuploaded?
Looking on Kemono, it seems like they both got deprecated around the 2.0.0 update. The archived characters one was probably removed because Garwaron updated all the characters that were in there to be compatible with the new lighting system, and added them back into the main download. Not sure why the custom skins link got removed, but iirc there weren’t any skins that weren’t in the game already, so maybe it was just redundant.

Does anyone have an updater from 1.9.5 to 2.0?
I’ll be honest here, considering that literally every single character (and a good chunk of the maps) got updated since then, it’d be way less hassle to just reinstall.

Downloaded the 2.0.1 but there is only one character to choose from?
If that character’s Tasque Manager, click one of the filters on the left. If that doesn’t work, then you probably only downloaded the updater for 2.0.1, and not the main game.

I have an issue with GOAT.
Whenever I enter to GOAT it freezes in the purple screen and doesn't let me play
someone can help?

Hey!
Here is another "smaller" patch, which includes another 2 poll winner and another highly requested fan favorite. I decided to focus on animation in the short time I had left in this month, I hope you like them.
No updates were made in the client yet, I only name it 2.0.2 to assign a version for the released characters.
The graphics updates haven't changed my workflow significantly, but lately I started to put more effort into animating bounciness, instead of only relying on physic simulations only. Noteably, I'm using breast scale in animation to also simulate squishiness.

Hey!

I want this month to be focused around animating older releases, so feel free to leave a comment about which character you would like to receive more animations! [Garwaron has told us that he only looks here for the reviews, so probably don’t do that, because they won’t be seen.]
2 characters (Neridya and Katress) are still left from the previous poll, so I’d rather not start a new poll until they are added, not before July at least.
Creation Tools tutorial is in priority, so I might FINALLY finish it? Dunno, I think I'm kinda bad at tutorial making. I will surely record the process and explain it with subtitles probably.
Now for some spicy news.

Wigfritter ( ) was kind enough to lend me one of his blender animation source files, so I can finally try something I wanted to do for years. Namely, converting an already existing animation into a GOAT friendly environment.
You might have encountered this animation before, like here:

This is how the animation looks after GOATifying it, also taking advantage of the scene and voice selection system:

The animation doesn't have multiple expressions or phases, but it's possible to control the speed and access some extra features, like the removeable cloths and eye glow adjustment.
Pretty neat. Let's hope for more collabs in the future!

Hey everyone,

I managed to find and rip the 3D models out of the game. Unfortunately due to the ripping process, or my own ignorance of the process, you would have to reply the textures to the models (as in applying materials to the UV Groups). You wont have to unwrap them but you will have to apply the materials again in blender. Its a bit time consuming but it seems the UV Islands (Blender) are still there, so selecting whole sections to apply materials is easy enough (You can do that with Ctrl + L). I wanted to see about making new skins while texture painting in blender.

I managed to test this out on Rouge. and the process works just not ideal. If anyone knows a better method I would very much love to hear how. The only reason I share is because the links for the models seems broken and I was really wanting to try my had at some custom skins.

Any other tips, should one would wish to share, would greatly be appreciated!

If the problem is that ripped ones are working bad, then most of the models used in this game are available from other sources either for free or at a price.

Free ones can mostly be found on Smutbase and SFMlab(need SourceIO by REDxEYE plugin to import SFM ones to blender)
and many of those that cost money are leaked on Kemono party.
When choosing character in game, there are credits to know who made the model and sometimes a link to their media page/shop.

Ill look into that. I wasn't too sure if in this case there was specific things that the games creator did post acquisition of the models. If there was something they did in Unity, in post, to allow for the textures to work correctly. My example of this being where the head and body are two separate textures. My example would be the UV groups. I guess I could acquire the original model as well and see if there as anything changed.

Its not so much that the models are "working bad" so much as I don't know if there was anything that was done when packing into unity for their game to run. I'm not really good at explaining this. It could also be that the original models contain great stuff baked in and etc etc but in order to use it in game they had to be edited?


If the models are readily available elsewhere then of course go support the creator!

So I took a look at both and it seems like they are the same.
You will need some knowledge of blender and joining and separating mesh groups to get it ready to edit yourself.

I think that might just be a case of Unity and Blender not playing nice with each other, because I know you also have to reapply textures when importing stuff the other way around from Blender into Unity.

Converting animations is what GOAT should have been from the start, take various porn animations and convert them to be viewable in a 3D VR space I am so happy the devs are finally going forward with this idea the future for this game is very exciting
