one way to do it with a cable is sidequest. Another way I did it without a cable is to just upload a file to google drive and then download the file from the quest headset. I will say that you need a developer enabled headset tho. It’s not hard to switch your headset to that and it doesn’t erase any data or change anything. It just makes it so you can download non store related stuff to the headset putting it simply lol
Yeah, sometimes the cord is a bitch because if one setting among many is off it won't work.
Causi g you to have to back track the entire process to find the loose connection..

I did not even think about using drive though, thanks!

Anyone with an old HTC VIVE having success running this in VR mode?
I don't have one myself but there's one on offer I'd consider if it runs this without issue.

He is just mad that there was no better (not broken) pulchra model available with the correct license and stuff, when the update was made. At this point he should probably just ask the artist samzan to release a more "female" version lol (Btw: same artist = good chance to replace the model without throwing away animations)
i saw valorlynz's pulchra model was good, take a look a this

the Pulchra model has two main issues, one it's low poly, which makes everything look off, and two, the art style of whoever made that model is not very good. it's like those goofy TEMU Krystal look.

The Problem is that valorlynz is not allowing anyone to use the model outside of blender and he/she (idk) is very protective about the models due to leaks. You should have seen the form that you need to fill out to get the model. If you filled it out, you might get lucky to be allowed to buy the model. And the license agreement is not better lmao.

I get that with the art style, but what do you mean with low poly? That doesnt sound right because the last time i looked at pulchra ingame, the model wasnt low poly at all. Do you maybe play the game on the quest or on low graphic settings?

I mean i guess that's fair, nobody wants their own models to be out there used by other people who can also make a profit out of it, especially when we know that there are people who don't credit the makers of those models. But it's still a shame that we got something so tame and who look like way too much of Crystal but with less "curves" and taller. For a character that a lot of people were hyped to get in the game, it was such a let down.

nah I'm on a system built around a 5080.

I think the issue with the graphics is the engine is built on Unreal or something, which is notorious for less than realistic graphical fidelity (as opposed to Unreal).

Ok guys, this game doesn't work with smooth motion enabled by nvidia. I tested it using the nvidia Profile Inspector. That was the problem with my launch.

Hey!

Been a while I touched the client code, but reports on Quest version crashes made me revisit the Quick Loading feature, which was already included in the code. Why haven't I just simply enabled it?
When I tested it again , it hit me. There was an unexplainable error in the Quest version ONLY.
Worked fine on editor and PCVR, but the main menu bugged out on Quest upon returning to it from a scene.
Yeah, developing to multiple platforms sucks.
I almost gave up on it, but I can't let a main menu crash pass, so I brute forced a menu reload on Quest, which solved the problem, at least it's functional.

Which made me realise that the code has reached critical mass,and adding/fixing stuff in a 3-4 year old codebase is a BIT difficult. I'm also burnt out I guess.

The good news are that I finally started to write the document of what GOAT 2 needs to be.
Mostly I need to use my coding knowledge I gained in the past 3 years and make a really a better structured client, with more streamlined content creation. Not to mention, on a more current Unity version. Unity 6 lighting can be spectacular.

New content and small tweaks will still come regularly tho, I just shared my thoughts.

Portrait only loading option (Available on the startup screen)

When Portrait Only is enabled, it will load only a preview image of the character instead of the whole statue, which is less taxing on the memory. (Ideal to prevent crashed on Quest 3, but it also works on the PCVR client.)
A few things to note:
-Portrait Only doesn't load any metadata from the statues, so you can't get as many information as from the regular Statue Loading.
-The game need to reload the main menu every time you return to it, which takes a few seconds. Better than crashing I suppose.

Unlimited Voice Selection

With this update, voices are not gender/type locked anymore, so every voicepack is available for every character.

Save File Bugfix

I fixed a bug that would save an invalid skin ID and would cause to bug out some features, like skin changing and body shapes.
