It's probably a file naming thing. Make sure the file names and png names match the default folder's naming conv. If not maybe some are just small edits that you are supposed to assemble yourself? I'm not sure but I could take a look later.

Some don't have a default folder at all...

In my packs as far as the actress names, I also put the creator's name who made it so that you know which one is which. Thank you for noting that the Frenni skins had that spelling error. It has been fixed in the MEGA.
I just went through all my skins on a fresh install and they all seem to be working fine.
I'm going to take a look through bwebrwkerw's skins too
I'm not seeing any issues with his naming from a glance. All his skins in Amy's folder work too. Is there anything you did before adding the skins? You could always send him a DM and see if he can help you.

I tested her on pc and quest and she worked on both, maybe check and make sure you don't have a super long directory or something

Run game as admin or reduce the security permissions on its folder. It can't grab the asset files because of permissions.


As someone else said, Heat is actually more featured than GOAT in terms of posing and animations, the only benefit here is third-party models that would be a nightmare to add to Heat. The guy who used to run the mod archive with poses fell off the face of the earth so the poses got deprecated when the game updated how it handled poses and changed a bunch of maps (coordinates were off). I only archive mods for the game due to storage restrictions, but you can get poses and mods from their discord if you pay like $2 once and grab a Patreon role: https://f95zone.to/threads/heat-v0-7-4-0-edef.62348/post-17082079.

How to fix if mine don't?

If any are missing you can just re add them by copying over from a fresh download of the game. So if you see one without default just grab that one and throw it in. Or if your having a lot of issues just copy the entire library of skins over and overwrite to fix.

Saw the latest WIP and so excited to see finally seen an equine (Rain) in the game and Ashley the feline. When that gets released I'm so fucking making custom skins for them. <3

Hey,

Unfortunately I have to delay the next update with 1-2 weeks. Model conversion, test poses/animations were made, but there is still much left to be done - and I made little progress in the last few weeks.

Don't worry, the delay is not caused by negative events or depression this time, quite the opposite. I was just too busy with the necesarry work around the apartment I will move in next month, and this week I was (and still) busy with good family stuff. Which means I will be unavailable for the next few days.

I assume everything can get back to normal next month, but at least, it will be less busy than May. By a lot.

Some poses for teasers until the next update:

Ashley - Model by MayoSplash

Rain - Model by Carbiid3

Sangheili - I can't find the credits right now, but I will include it in the final release of course.

So this means the next update will arrive around June 10 I think, then, a new poll can be held. Maybe it's also time to change the release methods after the next poll, to give more space for older releases.(AKA less new releases / month in exhange for more older character animations.)

Anyway, see you in June!

Again, new characters but with only 3 poses each... I really hope that starting June after this update, he starts to add more poses to characters because like i said a couple of pages ago, a LOT of characters are lacking positions, old ones like new ones. 3 poses each characters when older characters used to come with 5 to 9 positions....

He listed pose variety as a future goal for sure so only time will tell. If we get posing tools that aren't crippled and some other things this game instantly has the potential to crush almost every other one in terms of variety and function

Depends on the character, check the partner appearance options after picking a character. You are limited to what the model itself had when it was put into the game and whatever blendshapes the creator have made for it. So the answer is yes and no depending on the character.

Most characters have that option in "Partner Settings" but not all
