Go back some pages to repack links of 1.06.1 which works fine. Stable is still not out. 1.06.2 contains a few bug fixes, but they aren't game breaking bugs. No features. Will happily lend a hand when stable is out.

so i'm stuck at level/rank 1 even though i have more than 300 exp. Is the solution to complete all the tasks listed there?
i read through this post and i'm seeing so much mixed answers, like having to level up in japanese version first, skipping tutorial, etc. So whats the right answer?

you can try with steam and add a non steam game wiht compatibility layer, or with bottles.
I run those games with bottles and when you add the .exe you can add a command.
Is it just me, or the game constantly crashes near beginning of the game (right before H-scenes and when game fails to translate a dialogue option)?

Yes, something fked up on the translation plugin, turn off your proxy than it'll get pass the crash.
