VN Ren'Py Game Dev Journal: Inner Demons (Ch 4 progress)

Hello everyone!
I'm sorry I haven't been on in a long time. (An apology I seem to be making alot...)

There's been alot happening with me over the last couple months, lots of personal and professional issues I've been struggling to resolve. I'm still healthy and good, so don't worry about that. But a lot of changes will be happening soon.

Anyway, some updates:
- No progress has been made on Inner Demons, so far. It's been a long ride on the struggle bus, but it hasn't stopped. A combination of stress and creative blocks kept me away.
- However, I did work on something new (for about an hour) just to see if I could kick-start my creative juices. And it involves Blender...

shit everytime i see daz3d or blender my head beggin to spin.....i try it once[daz3d] and pretty sure i hate it[xd]or it hate me....no patience and no skill at all,...and even some will say is" easy to work with it" they must be love what they are doing or are crazy,[kidding ],i takes not only hard work but also lots of hours to be useful with it,...and for that i pray to the deities of the developer world to give our great GrayTShirt to give him all the health and unblock qualities he can hope,....
in my line of work we dont have this blocks but i can say i use to work i something else when my job beggin to boring me,...can say its the same but,....after some time i catch with my profession [real job] pretty damn fast,...hope and wishes the best luck to you "gray".....

AMD 7950x
ROG Crossfire x670e motherboard
64gb Corsair Platinum RAM (Should be 128gb)
PNY GeForce RTX 4090ti

I've only imported my character into Blender, but haven't done anything with it yet. I don't even know how to pose it!

a lttlle bit overkill he says.....xd....well i imagine that need to be like that to process all theamzing work you are doing ....when i donwloaded daz i told myself ,ok dude now im gonna need a better machine,....but im so used to my laptop that i cant find myself buying a home pc...and i dont wanna expend 4k uss in a super notebook,....
that and i really enjoy others work so ,..is completely fine .....

Sad news indeed, really one of the few VN's I looked forward to see updated every single time. Thanks for your amazing work GTS and good luck with whatever endeavour you will follow.

BUT, remember to keep everything, files related etc somewhere on a HDD, you may never know what turns life can take

It's a more positive resolution to a series of negative events. But it's taking ALOT of time, attention, and resources to get through it. It's for the best, really. I just wish the ID gang didn't have to suffer for it.

fuck,..this is one of those times when uou feel sad ,very much is like loosing something or someone [ok maybe not the last]but you know what i mean,..this was a journey a nice one with a heartfell ending ,not the one we all expect but a diferent one,...
i dont knwo gts issues and im not going to think i can fix them but if is a money problem only ,[dont think so]u can always open a pledge side account,..this game is in my top 5 if not in my top 3 it have all what im looking for ,quality ,story and a dev who cares alot,and a wonderful fanbase [maybe not the biggest but ...] i dont even see any kind of trolling or fighting over here isn thats amzing in this site,...
i dont know what issues come with working in the world of avn but i can think of some of them related to the explicit content,and sadly i can understand but i cant realte to that,not bcs i dont see myself working on something like this but bcs im totally dont fucking care about realtives [personal or work related] but thats how i see the world not everyone is the same ,and i totally understand that ppl cahnge and issues and life situations can arise ,..so i really hope GRAY that whatever you gonna do with your life going forward do not let dispair take over your head and soul[unless is something without solution]..
only death is final and we dont even sure abou that....i really hope one day you can back and say "hey guys im back and rdy to finsih this one and working on a prequel or sequel [i would love to see a prequel with a futa on the lead role].
i wish you best to whatever you want to doand i prefer to say cya soon than goodbye,...maybe you dont feel it but you have wonderfull ppl here ,waiting to hear from you and no not only for the game but bcs we care,....was a pleasure and joy to see your work ,you are very talented and i dont think you are finished here i feel is just the start,...so with nothing else to say .....

It's actually not a money issue, it was real-life stress that I couldn't deal with anymore. I needed a change, which meant having to give up a few things.
Maybe one day I'll come back, and work on something like an animation or even come back to this. But right now, I have to focus on other things.

Sounds like a positive outcome that took heavy measures to achieve, one of which is letting down game development for now.

It's a choice I can only respect. Not in the least because you made some great choices before. Like building an audience in this very dev thread and not taking any money for your labor. It has been a blast.

Just know you've been a great source of inspiration to me - as an aspiring developer, both business wise as artistically. If you ever need help reviving Inner Demons, please don't hesitate asking for help. I would be honored to support you.
